"...yes you may"
I took his hand and we walked to the floor. Now I didn't have much dance experience but I trusted Keith. He held my right hand up and he had his other hand on the small on my back.
Soon the music started and we began to move. What was probably only 5 minutes of dancing felt like it would last forever. I could pull my eyes away from him. I didn't care what happened tonight but I knew I wanted to be with the man in front of me.
After the music ended, we stood still. My whole body felt stiffed as Keith held me in his arms. I felt multiple eyes staring at us. Soon he took my hand and led me off the dance floor and onto a balcony outside. There was a chill in the air so I stayed close to Keith.
"Keith?"
"Yeah?"
"What's going to happen?"
"Once Lotor is spotted, we'll take him down. All I need you to do is to get somewhere safe. We have to car parked close. Just get in and it should take you home"
"Please be careful Keith. I know we haven't known each other long but I ...I want to take this right."
"Me too"
I lock eyes with him and I start to lean in.
"Keith!" Shiro runs up to us
"Shiro, What's up?"
"Lotor, he's here"
