Vampire Keith x reader

The fight

Keith POV
As I charged at Lotor, I transformed into a dark lion and he turned into a white one (also in this au vampires can change into many animals, not just bats). I clawed at his face and did to me. I kept turning back to see if y/n was safe in the car but I didn't get a good look before Lotor would strike again.

I soon got a hold on his one leg and injured it. Unfortunately for me he didn't stop. Instead he ran towards the car. When I looked back y/n was out of the car. I ran as fast I could. Lotor was not going to a hand or paw on her.

Y/n POV

After a while Keith didn't come back to the car. I heard strange noises coming from the woods so I got out of the car to see what it was.

"Keith! Keith is that you?"

All of a sudden I heard a roar behind me. I was afraid to look back because I had a feeling it was a lion or tiger but those aren't around here. As I slowly turned around I saw a huge white lion with familiar eyes.

"Kei-"
I couldn't finish when I saw a black lion pounce on the other lion and started biting. I got a quick look at its eyes and I knew, that one was Keith. Soon he bit the lions leg and they broke their fight. He roars back at the other lion and soon it disappeared. Keith soon transforms back into his normal form and collapsed to the pavement.

"Keith! Keith are you okay!?" I asked as I ran over to him. I lifted him into my arms.

"I'll be okay, but we might need Shiro"

"Y/n?"

I look up to see my tired mom. Oh boy this could be bad.

"What happened?"

"-Keith got in a fight and he needs his...brother to come and get him."

"Well um he can stay here until he shows him, bring him inside."

Time skip

Keith was brought into my living room. My mom got hold of Shiro and he was on his way over. Keith was still badly injured from the fight. I always thought vampires healed fast but that wasn't the case.

I helped Keith bandage the worst of his wounds  and put ice on his bruises. At one point I have to help take off most of his clothes because they were torn and I saw more of Keith than I was normally comfortable with. I knew he was strong, but I didn't think he was this ripped.

"Hey I'm here" shiro had walked while Keith was resting on our couch.

"Shiro?"

"Keith? What happened?"

"Lotor attacked, I should have known"

"It's okay Keith, soon everything will get settled."

Shiro walked over to my mom to explain the situation. I was alone with Keith again. I felt a chill when he took my hand in his.

"Keith are feeling better?"

"Yeah, I'm just glad you're safe"

"Why? Lotor didn't touch me?"

"Y/n, Lotor is dangerous and for some reason he wants you. He has to be stopped"

"But why me?"

"Because you're my mate"
