Vampire Keith x reader

He's back

Y/n pov
After I left the Kogane house, I walked back to the camp site. Lance and pidge were looking around because they saw me leave. We decided to go back to my house for the rest of the night. I didn't tell them what happened with that boy. They would worry. But it did cause me to wonder who he was, he never told me his name. As I laid in my bed, his face appears in my mind.

Keith's pov
That girl kept rattling in my head. Her  voice, her smell , her..everything. What is happening to me?! I laid in my room thinking about y/n. I can't do this again. Ever since him I promised I would never love again. Besides she is human, I can't have human blood or something horrible may happen. 
As I was lying there I heard a window slam open. Shiro must be back from hunting. I got up and went to his room. He was standing in front of the open window.
"Hey Keith, how have you been?" He says sitting down his bag
"Pretty well, quiet as usual. Good hunt?"
"Not bad, it should last us for a while. You should come next time"
"That's alright I prefer to stay here"
"Keith we've discussed this, you can't always live in this house, you need to be outside once in a while"
"Fine, I'll go next time"
He pats my shoulder as he sets the food downstairs.
"By the way Keith there is something we need to talk about".
I walk down stairs to the kitchen as we eat diner: cow and deer. We sit near each other as we eat the meal.
"Keith, you know that it has been 300 years since...you know. Well I ran into Alurra from the council, she said that it need to find your mate"
I nearly chocked on my food, "my mate?!"
"Yes, every vampire goes through it. She thinks you should come to the next annual blood ball to meet someone."
"Shiro, what if my mate is human?"
"If it is human, there are certain terms that have to be settled. It is very rare for a vampire to mate with a human"
I looked down at my food.
"Is there a reason you are asking me this?" I look up to see Shiro smirking.
"No no no reason"
"Tell me Keith "
"Fine, a human girl found the house and I may have spoken with her but I didn't give her my name and she left soon after."
"I'm not sure if I want to be proud or concerned. Did you bite her?"
"No god no !"
"What did she look like ?"
"She had h/c hair, e/c eyes, s/c skin, human looking face "
"You like her?"
"I can't say, I barely know her"
"Maybe she'll come back, I'll be sure you two are alone." He winked at me.
I hit my head on the table in embarrassment.
