It's been a few weeks since the incident back at the HIVE. My wound is almost healed, but it's still tender. I got an email from our informant in Edonia. He's been in Edonia for two weeks.
"You've got some news, didn't you?" Kara said, walking in with two cups of coffee.
"Yes." I said, taking a sip from the hot beverage. "Jason Hayes has been tracked to Edonia. He has a small group of mercenaries with him."
"What could he be doing in Edonia?"
"Starting a war most likely."
"I'm guessing with Bioweapons?"
I nodded as I took another sip from my coffee.
"I still don't understand why people want to use Bioweapons in war. It achieves nothing."
"To them, it does, a lot."
"Maybe it does, but no one gives a fuck about all the innocents caught in between. Especially children."
My email sound went off.
"We've got work to do."
"I'll get my things packed." She said, letting out a sigh and quickly getting up and walking to her car.
I got up and walked to my room upstairs. In the DSO, each Agent has their own rooms, specialized for them. My things were already packed in medium sized suitcases with the DSO seal stamped on the front. Still sore, I buttoned up my black shirt and threw my leather jacket over top. Kara came in wearing, a black above knee length pencil skirt, a black jacket with a silk red top underneath, and dark crimson colored heels. Her long black ebony hair curled.
"Wow." I said stunned.
"Too much?" She asked, spinning around.
"No, not at all. You look fantastic."
"I feel like a secretary. I mean, why the hell do they expect us women to wear shit like this when we go out of the country?"
"I guess to represent the Agency."
