Leon led us to our room, trying to take my mind off of what just happened. He sat me down on the edge of the bed and grabbed two glasses from the dresser. My head was spinning from all the overwhelming emotions and I couldn't even stop it. It was just too much. Leon poured us both glasses of Tennessee Whiskey and handed me one.

"Here, this should help." He said, taking a swig from his glass as he sat down beside me. I took it and just downed it. The burning of the alcohol felt refreshing and it started to bring me back to myself. Leon poured me another glass and I sipped from it. There was so much I wanted to say, but didn't know how to say it.

"This can't be real. It can't be." I still refused to believe it. "This is making me numb with all the unbearable pain coming back."

"What else could help ease it up?"

"Maybe taking a long, hot shower. I honestly don't know at this point."

"You should take one to help ease your mind. The more you think on this, the more stress it's going to put on you." Leon said, pulling me close to him. I placed my head on his shoulder. It was the feeling of having home near me that made me feel safe. I just wanted us to be alone. Me and him.

"But I don't want to leave you unguarded with them downstairs. I still don't trust either of them. I don't know if I can, or even if I will. This seems all like a sick game."

"I'll be fine, babe. You just go take a long, hot shower and relax. If I need you, I'll let you know." He said, kissing the top of my head. I sighed. "I love you." He said in that low, comforting tone of his.

"I love you too."

I got up and kissed Leon before grabbing some clean clothes that he had for me and headed to the bathroom. The bathroom was huge. It was white and gold Italian marble with this enormous shower big enough for five people to shower in and still have room. It smelled of wild lavender and roses. The bathtub itself was also enormous. I placed my clothes on the Victorian style table beside the shower, readied my towels and started stripping off my clothes. The water was hot and relaxing. I started to relax under the soothing hot water and it began taking my mind off of things. If only Leon was in here to shower with me would make things hell of a lot better, but I don't think shower sex would be that easy. I thought to myself. I stood under the shower head, closing my eyes and letting the water run down my body as I was hoping that after I got out that I would be somewhere with Leon and not here in this place. Anywhere but here. It felt like an hour that I was in the shower and I was totally relaxed. My body didn't ache as much as it did before I stepped in. I got out and wrapped the towel around me and started scrunching my hair. Before I knew it, I was already dressed and headed out the bathroom door. Leon had laid his clothes out on the bed, but he was no where to be found, so I started putting my gear back on and headed down the stairs. This entire mansion was silent. You could probably hear a pen drop from the other side of the mansion. As I got closer to the kitchen, I noticed some things out of place: the rugs were scrunched up, some chairs where displaced. An odd feeling rushed over me that made me pull my gun from its holster. My heart pounded in my throat as I came to the kitchen and found my mom hunched over, holding her bloody face, but no Wesker and no Leon.
