Somewhere in the middle of Edonia
December 25th, 2017.
3:13 a.m.It's been 4 days since the plane crash. The temperatures have plummeted to 5 degrees and the wind was making it worse. The snow storm had worsened overnight, blowing three feet of snow against the door, making it harder to go out and find wood. Leon has left to get a signal from the nearest tower that's 8 miles north from our position. It was a good thing we found this cabin when we did. Otherwise, we would've frozen to death. God I hope he's alright. I wish he would've let me go with him. But I was forced to stay here. We've stocked up on ammunition from the cabin. That was luck. We blocked out the windows and barred them to keep anything from getting to us. I hope we find a way out of here soon because the food we have won't last us no longer than two weeks. I warmed myself near the ever-growing fire, keeping my body awake. I pulled an old wooden chair near the fire, grabbed one of the blankets we found and sat near, watching the door. My bandages needed changed and cleaned, but I have to wait until Leon gets back.
There's only bits and pieces I remember from the plane crash.
*Flashback**
Leon and I boarded the plane with Jason Hayes in our custody after a seemingly impossible ambush to capture him. We succeeded though, but Leon was more agitated at the fact we were both betrayed by Ada Wong, who left with the briefcase and scientist in hand. Jason was placed in a cell, middle-ways of the plane where Leon and I were left to keep watch until we landed in the United States and to be escorted by the DSO. All I could remember was the plane going down in flames and this inhumanly thing aboard with us that used to be Jason Hayes trying to kill us both. He must've infected himself with his own product. He threw me towards the front of the plane where I saw Leon fighting to stabilize the plane, but was stopped by a infected pilot. The other was dead. I can't remember much after that than waking up next to a fire in extreme pain with Leon beside me. We were both banged up pretty bad. He had some scratches and cuts on his face and arms, I had a concussion, cracked ribs, a dislocated shoulder and a small laceration the right side of my head. We had no cell service, no transmission and what was left of the plane, no signal from the SAT-phone. We trudged through waist deep snow and finally found this cabin sitting abandoned. Leon rushed to get a fire going before we got hyperthermia, he sat me down next to the fire place, and pulled a bed in the living room in front of the fire place. We began taking off our wet clothes and hanging them to dry. He told me to stay on the bed while he went to find a medical kit, I refused because I didn't need it.
