*Leon's POV* After a long flight back to the US in a crowded helicopter and badly injured Kara, we landed at Virginia's airport, welcomed by the DSO, CIA, FBI and NSA along with Hunnigan. There was an ambulance awaiting Kara just off the terminal. I didn't have time to explain to Hunnigan what happened. All I was worried about was getting Kara to a private hospital owned and operated by the DSO and military. I followed the paramedics with Kara on the stretcher to the ambulance and got in, Hunnigan followed behind.
"Leon, what happened in Edonia?" She asked worried.
"Not now, Hunnigan. I'll give you my report after I know Kara is going to be okay. Right now, we're wasting time getting her to the hospital. Meet me there in the lobby and I'll explain everything."
The doors shut behind us and we were on our way to the hospital. The pigment of Kara's skin started to fade to a light grey color. That was never a good sign. Whatever she's infected with isn't good and I don't know what's going to happen to her. There's someone I know that might know what's going on with her. Someone that Kara doesn't want me to ask, but he's the only one who knows this stuff. Either way, this is a horrible idea. There's no other choice I have besides Rebecca, but she's busy with her research. We arrive at the hospital and the paramedics took Kara straight back to the ER. Everyone was all rushing around in the lobby, while I was just standing there with absolutely no idea what to do next. Hunnigan approached me with two agents.
"Leon, we need to talk." Hunnigan said.
"Right, about the mission in Edonia. Short recap: Somehow, Jason Hayes was able to inject himself with a different strain from a virus and turned on the plane. The same must've happened to one of the pilots. The other was dead. The engine, however, is still a mystery. It quit in mid-air. I tried to stabilize the plane, but it was too late, so I had Kara in my arms when the plane crashed. We survived luckily. Very, very luckily. She was unconscious for a little while after the crash then we found this isolated cabin. I took care of Kara for a while then went out to find the tower on the mountain peak to get a transmission to you. When I came back, Sherry Birkin and Jake Muller had Kara on the bed. She was infected with something, I don't know what yet, but I'm going to find out. Here." I handed Hunnigan the written mission report containing every bit of information, minus the run-in with Ada Wong.
