Leon's POV
There was a wave of uneasiness that washed over me and it was a feeling that wasn't sitting right with me. My gut feeling was telling me something is wrong, terribly wrong. We were on our way towards the ambush point, but no matter how much I tried to push the feeling out, I couldn't. In my line of work, I've learned to trust my gut feeling and most of the times I've been right about the situations that went horribly wrong. All I could think about was Kara. It was impossible to keep the worry away, but the more I thought on it, the worse the feeling became."Forget the ambush. Something is terribly wrong here." The more I thought of it, the more the hauntingly images unfolded inside my own mind like it was planning against me. I just couldn't shake this feeling no matter how hard I tried.
"But it's the plan? You want to abandon it now? Leon, it's our only chance to catch whoever is after us." Chris said.
"I know, but that can come later. Right now, Kara is our main priority. Something tells me we don't have much time and we need to hurry, now."
"All right. It's your call." Chris diverted the plan and started heading straight towards Kara's location. Our radios crackled when DC came over the channel.
"All right, what's the plan?" DC asked.
"We don't know what we're up against here. Odds are, they've got Kara in a maximum security facility with B.O.W.s off leash more like. It's not in Raccoon City though. We don't know who's running this show yet. My best bet is we're going to find out when we get there. It's just us up against however many assholes are there. This is going to be the toughest mission yet. Our plan is to hack into the security server and get eyes in there before we go in, so we know what we're dealing with, but this is Umbrella here. Expect unlikely surprises. Nadia, do you think you can hack into the security server from the plane? It sounds impossible, but we need stealth on this mission. The moment they find out we're coming, we'll lose our chance getting Kara back safely." Chris explained.
"It's a long shot, but I can try. I should be able to pick up their signal from up above and lock onto it. It's worth a shot."
"We'll need a layout of the place. Right now, we'll be going in blind."
"We'll be able to get a layout once we're above the facility."
"Scout out ahead for us and report back with anything you find."
"Copy that." The radio crackled back to static.
"She's in deep shit." I added.
"How do you know?" Chris asked.
"I just know. She hasn't tried to contact us to let us know where she could possibly be, or given us a sign she's nearby. There's nothing. Whoever has her, they've got plans for her and my best bet is that it's not good either. We need to hurry." Chris never said a word after that. We hurried to the best possible location where Kara would be and came upon an abandoned building that used to be an old motorcycle facility. Chris pulled the jeep over from the road and pulled out his binoculars, scanning the parking lot.
