*Ada's POV*

It was already dark by the time I had arrived at the mansion, but Leon and the others got there before I did. They've been here for a while. I parked my car at the foot of the hill and walked around, looking at the vehicle they took to get here. They were inside, so this gave me the perfect opportunity to place a tracker on the bottom of the bumper. After that, I walked to the edge of the cliff and stood on a medium sized rock that overhung the drop off below, staring into the remains of Raccoon City. All that remains are abandoned, ruined buildings and the dead that still walk, or, whatever else Umbrella has created. It's been a while since I was last here. My imagination got creative to think on what lurks in the shadows below. There wasn't much to look at from the mansion. The outside had looked abandoned and run down. Wesker picked a perfect spot to hide in plain sight. I've never met Kara's mother Veronica, but right now, time is of the essence. I checked the door and it was unlocked, so I slowly opened the door and slid in without making too much noise. The lights were dim and it was warm inside. There were echoes coming through faintly from one of the rooms ahead. The closer I came, the more I was able to to hear.

"They took her again? Why? Why is it always my daughter? She's been through enough already, why do they insist to pursue her?" That must be Veronica. She was crying as any mother would over their child.

"We're going to get her back, I promise, but right now, we need to ask you a few questions first." Leon said. Leon, always the gentleman.

"Of course. Anything I can do to help."

"We debated on coming here or not because were putting you at risk at getting captured or killed."

"I already know about the risks. I knew about them when I married Albert. Risks are nothing new to me."

"But still, we know there are other organizations searching for Kara and Wesker both and we need to find him before they do. Do you have any idea where he might be or has he tried to contact you since the last time we were here?" Claire asked.

"No, nothing. I haven't seen him since then. He hasn't called or even made an appearance. I assumed it was something risky for him not to come back. I guess he was afraid that they would come after me as well, but Leon..."

"Yes?"

"Please, make sure you bring them both back alive. I've lost so much and I don't think I can imagine losing them both. I know Albert's past, but I still love him and he is still my husband, despite his actions that put you all and Kara at risk."

"We will. I promise. We'll do anything and everything we can to get them back."

"I know how much you all care for Kara, and I can't thank you all enough for keeping her safe. I see how much she loves you all, but don't get yourselves killed during your rescue mission. Please. I consider you all like my own children."
