I live in a parochial society. A society which is known to be cosmopolitan but still has a mindset of an Indian public toilet. We are assigned roles based on our reproductive systems. We are not humans. We are just a cohort of people with unconscious desires, and a labyrinth of conflicts waiting to be expressed in a socially desirable way.

But is there anything acceptable in this abominable environment?

We indeed have espoused to the idea of following our 'roles' because we have been taught and been covered with this thick blanket of social acceptance which is, unfortunately, very prosperous to some of us. Those who believe in fatalism are rewarded with social acceptance. This blanket wraps around you like a vicious and poisonous snake and slowly suffocates you.

Are you breathing?

As I upload this picture, I wonder how many imbeciles will judge me. How many will disagree for social desirability. How many will agree with me. How many will just surf through their feeds, double tap and leave. All this while I'll be wondering, "Are they judging me?"

Why?

Because I am a girl. Girls are born to be judged no matter what they do. They are judged for the way they dress, apply make up, talk to the opposite gender, living their life. Our society is an intermediary to hell.

Well, damn you society.
