The letter

You were a surprise Ethan. I wasn't prepared to fall for hard as I did, but I was lucky that you were there to catch me.

I fell in love with everything about you, with who you are. From the stupid little things you do, to the colour of your eyes.

Before you, life was dull, I'll admit. You made me believe that there was so much more. You made me laugh and smile more than anyone ever did.

Sometimes it happens that someone's right for you and you're not right for that someone.

Thank you for being the person I always dreamt you would be and so much more. Thank you for taking my hand and showing me what I was terrified to admit I felt. Thank you for all of the memories. The times that we have shared will stay with me forever. Thank you for the good times and the adventures. Thank you for teaching me how amazing it is to let your heart love and how painful a goodbye can be but most of all, thank you for loving me.

Im still working on myself and Im still making mistakes, but just know that you were never one of them. You were the best thing that ever happened to me Ethan.

You deserve the world and more, I was lucky enough to be loved by you and be by your side.

Ethan, you deserve so much more than me so don't waste your time and effort focusing on someone who won't give you what you deserve in life. This is your life and I can't and I won't make you change it for me.

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. I knew this was inevitable, but I was never ready for the pain that would come with it.

It's possible for you to be happy more often than you are sad. Its possible for life to get better and for things to start looking up. You taught me that, so don't worry about me. Life will lead us to a better place.

I know you might think I'm exaggerating, but I want you to know that you're one of the most beautiful gifts that life has given me and i will never forget you. I promise. I love you Ethan Dolan.
