"That was wild." Ethan exclaimed as we entered the warehouse. "You have a very interesting taste in men."

"Actually the men only seem to have taste in me. I don't see anything in them." I looked at him. "Speaking about my taste in men, that would include you."

"I never said I was normal either." We both laughed.

I placed my bag on the floor and walked around the massive exercise mat. Ethan walked off and went up the stairs, while I had my phone in my hands going through my texts.

Mohamed:
Can we talk?
You know that he isn't a Muslim like me. He is not any use to you, he's only gonna make you sin.
You will never find someone who will love you like I can. He can never respect you like I can.

I sighed loudly as Ethan came back down the stairs and handed me a water bottle.

"What's wrong?" He asked opening his bottle. I lowered myself to the floor and crossed my legs. I then handed my phone to him and let him have a look.

"Fuck this guy!" He said seconds later.

"I'm gonna a block him." I told him.

"Good. Didn't you say he's in your class?" He asked.

"Shit yeah!" I facepalmed myself. "I'll just avoid him."

"Is he puts his hands on you again-" Ethan began.

"I can handle it Ethan. I know how to kick ass and I got Mike with me so I guess that helps." I said and Ethan's jaw clenched when I said Mike.

"So what did you need to fix?" I asked taking a sip of my water. Ethan scratched his head and looked in the other direction.

"Umm the sign. I wanna see if I can fix and get the lights to work."

"You broke the sign!" I giggled. "Ethan how?"

"It wasn't my fault okay." He got up and walked towards it.  "Come here and stand by the switch and turn it on when I tell you to."

"A please would be nice." I mumbled following him.

"What was that?" He asked smirking.

"I said you smell like ass." I said pulling a face.

"You and I know I smell amazing."  He winked  at me and I felt myself melt. I laughed it off, but this boy made me feel so- I couldn't even begin to explain. It was so much more than I felt for him years ago.

I spent ages on my phone as Ethan was fixing and messing with the wires.

"You sure you know what you're doing?" I asked peering over his shoulder.

"Yeah, I got this." He said encouraging himself. I hummed and placed a kiss on his cheek, his little stubble pricking my lips, before walking away. I smiled to myself at the way his face suddenly tensed up.

Several hours had passed of Ethan insisting he knew what he was doing and with me flipping the switch to turn on the light and constantly being disappointed.

"Ethan just tell Grayson or get someone to come fix this." I told him.

"No, I can do this it isn't that hard. Okay this is the last go, flip the switch."

"Okay fine." I sighed and I pushed up the switch. Instead of the sign lighting up, all the lights in the warehouse turned off leaving us in the pitch black.

"Oh fuck!" Ethan yelled. I giggled, dramatically flapping my knee. I couldn't even see Ethan so I had my hands up trying to feel for him.

"Grayson's gonna kill me!"

"Now do you think it's time to call someone?" I asked and I heard him groan.

"I can't see shit, where are you?" I was waving my hands around.

"I haven't moved." He said and then I heard feet shuffling. "Or have I?"

"Don't do that bitch!"

"Come find me!" He sounded far away. "I'll tell you when you get warmer."

I took a few steps still waving my hands around rapidly. I was squinting even though I knew it wasn't going to help.

"Ethan!"

"Warmer."

"How far did you go?"

"You're getting warmer."

"I hate you for this. How fucking far did you go?" I said after walking some more.

"Just make sure you don't-" He began to say but my the sound of me letting out a little squeal after tripping over something and landing on the floor with a thump, particularly on my ankle.

"Get hurt." He finished off his sentence. Foot steps got louder towards and then I felt hands on my shoulder.

"You okay?" He asked and I still couldn't see him. He then got out his phone and turned on his flash light.

"Yeah I'm fine. I hate you for that." I said punching his arm and he laughed.

"Okay let's get you up." He said lifting me from my underarms and helping me to my feet. As soon as I balanced on my right leg felt pain shoot in my ankle.

"Ahhuchhh!" I fell back down and Ethan was still holding me. "My ankle I fell on it."

"Shit." He mumbled. "Let me see."

"Ethan you're not an electrician and definitely not a doctor." I said chuckling. He looked at me smiling shaking his head at my joke before lifting down my socks to view my ankle.

"It looks like it's starting to bruise too." He informed me. "Gotta get you some ice, think we got some here. I'll go check."

He retuned minutes later empty handed and put his arms around my to lift me.

"Guess we gotta head back to the apartment to get the ice." He said putting my arm around his shoulder. I limped beside him, keeping my weight off my ankle.

"This is gonna take forever, come here." He said his face really close to me I could feel his breath against my cheek. He bent and lifted me off my feet carrying me bridal style. I squealed and giggled.

"Ethan!" I was surprised.

"Don't deny you like it." He smirked, I could see his face now that we were closer to the door, the cracks of light giving us vision.

"You're right, I could get used to this."
