The Love Through Silence

Chapter 12

They crouched down to Alec and Magnus and Maryse said "Alec we want you to know how proud we are of you. We are so sorry that we weren't accepting at first. We now understand how happy Magnus makes you and that' all that matters. If you're happy, then   we're happy." Robert looked at them and said "Magnus, we can' thank you enough for helping so much with Alec, we know it couldn't have been easy, so thank you for not giving up on him." "I love Alec more than anything in the world, nothing can ever change that." The four of them hugged and then went back to dancing.

 The rest of the night was spent with fun and love and a lot of dancing. When the reception was over, Magnus and Caterina quickly cleaned up the hall with a snap of their fingers. Then Magnus portaled he, Alec and the gifts back to the apartment. They sat on the couch, hands intertwined just smiling. "How about we go to our room and express our new married love?" Magnus asked and then laughed. "Why yes of course." They kissed and Magnus picked Alec up, kissing all the way to their bedroom"

The next morning, they both woke up at the same time, kissing each other 'good morning.' Alec's eyes widened when he realized that they had spent so much time focusing on him and the wedding that they never even thought about their honeymoon. "What's wrong darling?" Asked Magnus. Alec started to sign "We spent so much time on me and the wedding that we didn't even plan our honeymoon." "Oh my goodness Alexander. I never even thought about our honeymoon, I was too excited for the wedding. Well how about this, today we plan somewhere to go, I call in a few favours, and then we leave tomorrow. Sound good?" "Perfect, but we will have to go somewhere beautiful, maybe not as beautiful as you, but it has to be pretty nice." Alec started to laugh. Magnus looked at Alec and kissed him. "I love the way you laugh, silent but adorable." They kissed again, got dressed and went straight to planning.

 Later that day Izzy came by to give the wedding binder she made and asked what they were doing. "We're planning our honeymoon, we never even thought about it, we leave tomorrow." "OMG. How did I not think of your honeymoon? I was your wedding planner! I am so sorry I am the worst planner ever!" "Isabelle, darling, it's okay, we forgot about it too. Trust me, you are the best planner I have ever met. The wedding was amazing. We couldn't have asked of anything better." "Okay. So where are you going?" Alec looked around for his IPad, but couldn't find it so he just looked at Magnus so that he could translate. Alec started to sign "We were thinking of Iceland. Neither of had ever been before and we heard the scenery is amazing!" Magnus chimed in, "And the hot springs are supposed to be wonderful." Magnus winked at Alec. All three of them laughed. "Well, I hope you two have fun. I'll let everyone know that you left." She hugged both of them and left.

 An hour later they had a hotel room and they were about to stat to pack their bags. Alec was sitting on the bed, folding all the clothes Magnus was tossing onto the bed.  They talked about what they were going to do on their trip. They both had smiles plastered on their faces. They would occasionally get distracted from packing and start kissing, Magnus casually going on top of Alec as he was folding a pair of Magnus' bright pants. Alec looked at Magnus and said "I love you so much. I don't think I could ever thank you enough for being so stubborn to get me to go to you two years ago. If you hadn't been, I wouldn't be here right now folding your boxers." They both started to laugh. "Well if you hadn't come to me after my pleading to you, I wouldn't be here tossing my boxers for you to fold for me right now." As they laughed Magnus climbed onto Alec and started to kiss all over his body.

It was late at night when they finally finished packing (so many distractions). They climbed into bed, but neither could sleep, they were too excited for their honeymoon. They laid there all-night cuddling, and counting the hours pass before they would leave. They slept about an hour before they woke up, almost instantly and got last minute things ready.

 Once they were ready, Magnus made a portal and placed all their bags in first, then he took Alec's hand and pushed them both into the portal. As soon as they got there, Alec pulled in Magnus for a huge hug. "I love you so much!" Alec signed. Magnus signed it back then said "ég elska þig svo mikið Alexander." "What does that mean?" "It means I love you so much Alexander!" "I didn't know you could speak Icelandic, I mean I knew you could speak like over a hundred languages but it didn't think Icelandic was one of them." "My darling Alexander, languages are easy for me, I was bored one day when I was living in Portugal, and decided, hey why not maybe I'll go there next, even though I never did. But we're here now, and don't worry, I will be your personal translator." Magnus laughed at himself then kissed Alec.
