Chapter 15

Once they got to the hot springs, Alec looked at Magnus and smiled. Magnus paid and thanked the driver and got Alec’s chair. They were about to go the springs, but realized that the ground was wet and sandy, Alec’s chair wouldn’t be able to go on it. Alec looked at Magnus with sadness in his eyes. Then he said “What if I hold onto you and walk?” “Are you sure Alexander?” “Yeah, I mean how far is it really? I’ll take breaks if I have to, we can get our pictures whenever I have to stop.” “Okay, if you really want to, but I’m holding onto you for dear life, and if you fall once, I’m carrying you. Deal?” “Deal.” Alec gave Magnus a big smile. Magnus magicked the chair back to the hotel room and went over to Alec.
Magnus held onto Alec when he stood up and slowly they started to make their way to the hot springs. Alec had taken eight steps then had to take a break. He stumbled and quickly sat on a rock. He took a few seconds to regain his strength, then stood up again and held onto Magnus. They started to walk then Magnus asked another tourist “Hæ. Kannski fimm míníutna göngufjarlægð.” (Not much further. Maybe a five minuite walk. ) “´þakka þér fyrir.” (Thank you). Magnus looked at Alec and saw that he was already exhausted. “Okay, you’ve walked long enough now, come on darling, hop on my back.” “Magnus, I’m good, I think I can walk a little further. How much further is it anyways?” “He said it is about five minutes, but you and I both know that five minutes is too long for you.” “What if I walk a little bit longer, then I’ll hop on your back?” “Are you sure Alexander, I can easily just portal us there?” “No Magnus, I want us to walk there. I want to see the scenery and how beautiful you look with it behind you. Okay?” “Fine, you got me, but the second I see that you are getting the slightest bit tired, I’m carrying you got it?” “Got it.” they kissed, took another picture, and then began to walk again. About two minutes later, Magnus saw that Alec was exhausted, and he was having to take longer breaks and took fewer steps at a time. “Okay Alexander, I’m sorry, but I’m putting my foot down. You can’t walk anymore. I can’t have you pass out here. If you pass out, it could be really serious, I don’t want anything to happen again. Please Alexander.” “Fine. I guess you’re right. I am exhausted, I can barely feel my legs.” Magnus knelt down to Alexander’s face and held it. They kissed, then Magnus got up halfway waiting for Alec to go on his back. Alec slowly stood up, almost falling on top of Magnus. It took him some time, but managed to get on top of him. Magnus stood up and gently adjusted Alec on his back. Alec placed a kiss on Magnus’ cheek and felt him smile.
Once they got to the hot springs, Magnus put Alec down and helped him into the bathroom that was there so that they could get into their bathing suits they had on underneath. When they were in their swim suits, Magnus helped Alec outside. They went to the edge of the hot spring and sat on the edge. Magnus climbed into the pool and started to kiss Alec. Alec jumped in and held onto Magnus, still kissing him. “I love you Alexander.” Alec smiled and continued to kiss him since he couldn’t sign back because he was holding onto Magnus. Alec tried to kick his legs in the water, but couldn’t move them at all, he guessed the water was too strong for him to be able to move his legs. Magnus was leaning on the side of the hot spring, then pulled Alec’s legs to wrap around him. Alec smiled and gave him a huge hug and a deep kiss.
They stayed in the hot springs for about an hour until they started to get cold and decided to go do some more sightseeing. They got changed and were ready to go to the city. “Do you want me to portal us to the city?” “Yeah, I don’t think I can walk there, I can’t feel my legs. I guess from the water.” “Are you okay? Do you need something?” “No I think I’m okay, I just don’t think walking is an option right now.” Alec gave a small smile to Magnus. Magnus picked up Alec and they went behind the bathroom and Magnus created a portal.
Once they were in the city, Magnus was still carrying Alec. He brought him to an alley and created another portal to get Alec’s chair from the hotel room. Alec sat down and sighed. “Is something wrong darling?” “No not at all I’m just a little tired that’s all. But you know what is wrong, that you’re not kissing me right now before we go.” Alec smirked and Magnus laughed then went straight in for a kiss. Alec started to push himself out of the alley and hand in hand they went through the city, stopping frequently to take pictures and getting others to take pictures of them.
