The theatre maintained a tense atmosphere this cold evening. Students of various major backgrounds crowded around the stage hoping to land a role in the Winter play.
Louis stood around anxiously clinging to Zayn's side. "I probably won't get the lead, Z. Not sure what fantasy world you live in but King Arthur has blonde hair and is tall...handsome...." Louis kept going on and on.
Zayn interrupted him. "Lou, stop it. Assert yourself. You got this." He said placing a crown on his tiny head. "Perfect."
Louis blushed a deep red that matched the costume he was wearing. "What are you going to try out for?"
"Sir Lancelot," Zayn said proudly swinging his sword around. "Though this chain mail is going to take getting used to. It's heavy!"
Louis snickered.
They observed the potential candidates. Louis gulped at how talented some of the students were. He found himself wondering why he even cared about getting a part in the play because he didn't even want to do it, but he knew it meant a lot to Zayn that they did this together.
"I hope we're not late!" Liam said panting out of breath.
"Just on time," Zayn said patting his back. "Remember Sir Gawain is the most honest and noble knight of them all. So play the part with a sense of innocence and assertiveness," he instructed.
"Of course love," Liam said smiling at his boy-friend.
Before Louis could respond, he saw a stunning luscious head full of curly hair approach him with a jester costume on.
"For your entertainment, King Arthur, Sir." Harry bowed as he began to juggle. The gang clapped as they learned a new talent he kept secret.
"Did you invite everyone to be in this play?" Louis asked nervously.
Zayn nodded. "Harry and I may not always see eye to eye but we can agree that this will be good for you,"
Louis swallowed. The pressure to get her part was now feeling like a heavy weight on his shoulder. He looked around at his happy friends draped in their costumes and felt blessed he had people who would be willing to take time out of their day to support him.
"The wizard has arrived!" Niall walked into the theatre wearing a long white beard and pointy hat. Everyone laughed merrily.

After the auditions, they learned that the results would be posted the following morning. Louis and Harry waved bye to everyone as they proceeded to walk to Harry's car.
"So you didn't tell me you were trying out for the play, or you could juggle," Louis laughed.
"Well I didn't know I was trying out until Zayn sent a group text this morning ask us to be present for your audition and support you. Then, Niall said he loved King Arthur and we should do better than support you; we should participate so we did," Harry shrugged. "We're attention whores us Music Majors," He joked.
"Simple enough I suppose," Louis smiled in disbelief. "But what if only some of us get parts in the play?"
"Well if you don't make it, I'm not going to do it. I'm only your jester because I'm only a fool for you," Harry winked. Louis smacked him playfully on the arm. "And if I may add, the crown suited you."
"It has nothing on your pointy hat and different color tights," Louis teased.
Harry fondly smiled at Louis before opening the door for him. "So I noticed you hadn't went to Therapy in awhile. I don't mean to pry but is this because you don't have a ride? You were going faithfully when your Mom was taking you,"
Louis felt his anxiety growing. He didn't want to talk about this at the moment; not when he anticipated such an amazing evening with his boy-friend.
"Yes and no, maybe," Louis timidly stated. "I've been feeling better so I don't see the need...and yeah, not being able to drive annoys me."
Harry clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth trying to maintain his composure. "I don't mind a bit to take you, you know. I still go myself, remember?" He asked looking over as Louis stared at the window. Pretending that he got a reply, he continued. "Great, I'll call the office and get our appointments at the same time."
Not having a valid argument to disagree, Louis nodded before turning up the volume to the radio hoping he could just enjoy the carefree atmosphere.
She said it's cold and she has no raincoat
She's always worried about things like that
She said it's all going to end and might as well be my fault.
& she's only sleeps when it's raining, and she screams
& her voice is strained
Well says "Baby, it's 3 a.m. I must be lonely,"
Yeah when she says "Baby, I cant help but be scared of it all sometimes,"
"But the rains going to wash it away, I believe this."
*****Authors Note: So this chapter will have a 'part 2' kinda. I noticed people like shorter chapters so I'll break the plots up (Such as Zayn's side story) into separate chapters maybe. Or should they just stay long?
Also I'd love to give credit to the manip but I don't know who is the creator. Found it on google.
