I groaned loudly before rolling onto my stomach and wiping my wet cheeks.
"Lace we have to be ready in an hour." Autumn said and I groaned and stood up.
We got to California yesterday. We all live here, but not close enough to the show to stay at home. So we were at a hotel again.
I had a fever and felt absolutely terrible, but I was going to push through it for the fans. I took a shower and quickly changed into a pair of leggings one of Cameron's navy blue v-necks that ended below my butt. It wasn't a tight shirt so I decided it'd be the best choice for the day.
I brushed through my hair and ran my hand through it a couple of times. It was still wet so I held it against my neck, trying to cool myself down.
I did my makeup, nothing big. Just concealer, mascara and eyeliner. Autumn shot me a sympathetic smile before we walked out of our room.
All of the guys were waiting for us outside. "Lace you okay?" Cameron asked and I shook my head.
"She has a fever." Autumn said and Jack's eyes widened.
"Then go sleep." He said and I shook my head.
"I can't disappoint people." I said and he sighed. He turned around and bent his knees.
"Hop on." He said and I laughed before jumping on his back.
I buried my face into his neck while he put his hands on my thighs to make sure that I didn't fall. "Your hands are cold." I said and he laughed.
"I'm sorry." He said and I shook my head.
"No it's a good thing. I need something to cool me down." I said and he kissed my left cheek.
We walked passed a bunch of fans and wandered behind stage. Jack walked on to the the stage with me on his back. Everybody screamed and he quickly waved to them and walked over to Mahogany's table where she had her stuff set up. Jack moved a couple of things before turning around and placing my butt on the table.
"Stay here." He said and kissed my forehead.
He walked off stage and I saw him run to a concession stand at the other end of the room where they sold snacks and stuff.
He went behind the table and said something to the lady running the stand before she nodded and handed him something. He ran back around and on to the stage before jogging over to me.
He handed two water bottles in his hands and I laughed at him. "Drink this one." He said and gave me one of the bottles. "Put this one on your stomach." He said and I rose an eyebrow. He rolled his eyes and lifted my shirt slightly before pressing the clod bottle against my burning stomach.
The crowd erupted in "awe"s making me blush slightly.
"Oh my god Lacy your stomachs burning." He said and I nodded. "Do you want anything else?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Just make me laugh. Don't let me be miserable the whole day, please." I said and he nodded.
"You got it." He kissed my forehead once more before taking one of the mics off of Mahongany's hands. "Come on out guys!" He said and everyone ran on stage.
Cameron walked over to Jack and said something in his ear, making Jack smile and hug Cameron. Huh. Weird.
Cameron walked over to me and put his hands on either side of my face before kissing the top of my head. "Don't push yourself too hard Lace. It never ends up good for you." He said and I nodded.
The boys danced, and fooled around before Jack walked over to me. "You doing okay?" He asked and I nodded with a smile.
(I have decided that from now on, 'Jack' will be Jack Gilinsky, and JJ will be Jack Johnson. Simple enough right)
All of the boys broke off into two groups while Mahogany played music. The boys started to do a dance battle and the crowd went absolutely insane.
JJ fell onto the ground, on his left shoulder, facing the crowd and Jack kicked him so he was laying on his back. Jack moved his hand up once while JJ rose his body off of the floor and fell again. The boys did this until Cameron and Nash moved them over and did an insane dance that made everybody laugh.
I'm glad I didn't stay in bed all day.

Jack carried me to my hotel room, seeing as I still felt like shit.
"Jack?" I whispered and he smiled at me.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"What did Cam tell you on stage today that made you happy?" I asked and he glanced at me.
"He told me that I had his respect. He said that what I did, running around an getting you those water bottles to cool you down was one of the nicest things he's ever seen. He said that I was allowed to date you. When he saw me do that he knew I would be a perfect boyfriend for you." He said and I smiled.
I felt myself falling asleep. But not before I whispered, "I agree with him completely."
