It ain't me (Sequel to "What an asshole you are, Zachary"), Zach Kornfeld fanfic

The end

"I cannot believe we woooooon!" Zach yelled at us and all our friends were at the bar we hanged out in when we were all still working for Buzzfeed. All of our kids were babysitted by Kelsey, who finally settled down with my brother Tom. They were trying for a baby now and we all thought it would be a great idea if they tried babysitting our babies.

"Me neither!" I exclaimed and grabbed another glass of wine while wrapping my arm around Zach's hips and leaning my head on his chest.

Today, after nearly a year of fighting at the court, we got Luke in jail. He was sentenced with 10 years and I couldn't be happy about this fact. Of course I wouldn't manage to do it on my own, my friends helped me a lot when I was feeling down. So tonight all drinks were on me, a badass woman, who managed to get rid of a trashy man in her life. While talking to my lawyer we found out Luke's past was pretty aggressive and another two victims of his showed up in the court, both against him.

"What are your plans now, Kiara?" Eugene asked and wiggled his brows at Zach. 

"Let me take care of that, Eugene," I sighed and rolled my eyes before meeting my eyes with Zach's. I remembered the first day we met, how grumpy he was and then how much fun we had together.

Looking back at our history I had no idea why we ended it all. Obviously we couldn't live without each other and even though we were functioning as friends right now, I still longed for more with him. And we even had this talk a couple of months ago after he ditched Jade. We concluded it was best for us that all the drama goes away and then maybe we'd give each other a chance.

"No, Kiara, I'm gonna take care of that," Zach sighed, before grabbing my cheeks gently, pulling me closer, obviously not even caring about our friends around us. And he was right, no one should care about public kissing tonight, everything was allowed to us.

Before I could give this situation another thought his lips crashed into mine and I knew this was the moment when everything fell together again. I was with the man of my dreams, who I had my baby with and he knew about that. We were surrounded by all our best friends that were cheering for us as our tongues battled for dominance.

"Ki, baby girl, I love you so much," Zach stopped our kissing just for a second so he could say these words.

"What an asshole you are, Zachary. But that's why I love you and I always will," I murmured before connecting our lips again and digging my fingers into his hair.

Hi guys!

You know how I said I will post two different endings? Well, I wanted this one to be happy and the other one to be sad where Kiara dies or something like that but no, I just love our lovely couple too much to leave them in a state like that.

So this is the end of book 2 and there will be no book 3 unfortunately. From now on I will only focus on one shots (so many requests woooah but feel free to send more in!!! :)) and maybe start another story later.
