As soon as the door opens, just a tad of sunlight breaks through and brings about a kind of warmth to the cafe.

It brings a smile to our faces.

"Welcome to Sweet Love." I greet alongside the other servers.

I quit years ago but here I am now, owner of the Bakery since Hana has retired. It's lonely without her here but every now and then, she comes to try our newest menu items.

And again, it's been remodeled to look more professional and have an atmosphere for all that enjoy sweets and drinks as well as like to read a good book.

It's peaceful and just a bit noisy enough to bring balance to the air.

"Mikan-chan, I-I'll take the o-order!" A recently recruited friend, Nobara, stutters. I grin as I take in her flushed cheeks.

I look at the lucky guy and see that its our former senior from a year back or so when we were in college together.

"Rei-sempai!" I slap his shoulder as a greeting and earn a warm glare.

"Sakura..." He groans, annoyed by my behavior yet a small smile spreads on his face.

"What brings you here." I glance back at Nobara who's struggling to get the notepad and pen. A slight chuckle escapes out of his mouth as he glances her way.

"No reason..."

Awwww, they're so cute together.

"Sure." I wink, "Take a seat and Nobara can take your order."

"O-Ok." He frantically looks for a table to sit at.

Then I watch the story unfold.

That's how its been so far. My life has just started to turn out much better than it did back when I was still in high school. Sometimes I miss the feeling of being a young naive girl who had to figure it out as she went but sometimes I don't because my life is so much better.

I wipe the sweat forming on my forehead and take a seat behind the register. Rubbing my heavy belly, I start to look around.

Every one of my customers are laughing, talking, smiling happily and it brings tears to my eyes.

"Strawberry Cream Puffs to-go please." I look up and spot cute red eyes. He wraps his small arms around my belly.

"Sweetie, what did I say about eating too many cream puffs?" I roll my eyes at his father. "Oh, you're just ordering for your daddy aren't you?"

"Nope." Natsume pecks my forehead. "Right kid?"

He zips his mouth and smiles, "Mhm."

"Right..." I laugh as I hug my precious boys. "It's time to go home."

I turn around to get my stuff. Natsume helps me take off my apron and holds my bag for me.

"How was school sweetie?" I ask my son. He pouts and crosses his arms. His hair has grown longer. He'll need a haircut soon.

"You know that girl I told you about the other day?"

"Airi-chan?" I turn towards Natsume who's smirking.

"She kissed my cheek." He frowns, clearly angry. I'm trying so hard not to laugh so Natsume does the talking.

"Why do you think that is?" His smirk grows.
