After a traumatic late childhood event, Arabella is off on an adventure to find herself and maybe even some love along the way. As she is welcomed into the Avatars gang, what will become of her?
Tonight's the Party. I really don't want to go. Maybe grabbing some tea over at the shop will calm my nerves. I started to laugh at my thoughts. The real reason I wanted to go was because I wanted to see Zuko. It's been five days since I've seen him.
I slipped on the simple dress I bought a couple weeks ago and put my hair up into a bun before adding the hairpiece to it. Lastly, I attached my knife to my thigh. This party is super suspicious to me.

I walked out the door looking around at all the people coming out of their houses. "Jeez." I mumble walking along the streets to the other side of the wall and going inside the tea shop. "Arabella." Zuko says when I walk into the door.
"Long time no see." I say sitting down at my usual table. "Sorry about that." He says sitting down and handing me a cup of tea. "You're going to have make it up to me. I can't stay long, I just wanted some tea before I went to that party thing." I say shaking my head. He only smiles at me making my blush a bit.
"I'm tired of waiting, these two men are fire benders." A man I recognize comes through the door. Jet pulled out his sword aiming it at Zuko and his Uncle. "I know they're fire bender. I saw the old man heating his tea."
"Drop your swords boy, nice and easy." A guard says standing up. "You have to defend yourself old man. Go ahead, show them what you can do." Jet says walking closer to Iroh. What's wrong with him this time?
Zuko stood up and took the swords from the guard and said, "You want a show? I'll give you a show." I stand up to try to stop him. "Lee don't do it." I say using his cover name he told me about. He ignored me and pushed a table towards Jet causing him to slice it in half as he came at him. Zuko jumped up on a table, only for it to be cut in half by Jet's swords.
They both went at it and ended up breaking the door and going out onto the streets. I ran out there and looked at them both. "You must be getting tired of those swords, why don't you go ahead and shoot fire at me?" Jet asked pushing on his swords. "Please son, your confused. You don't know what you're doing." Iroh told them both, but they didn't listen. "Lee! Stop it already!" I yell out again as they get to a wishing well.
"Drop your weapons." A Dai Li Agent came up from behind us. "Arrest them! They're from the Fire Nation!" Jet yells out again. "This young boy is confused. We're just simple refuges." Iroh says to the Dai Li Agent. "Come with us son." They went up to him and put his hand behind his back before locking them together with rocks and throwing him in a wagon.
Zuko came over towards me and grabbed my arm before dragging me into the alleyway. "What are you doing?" I ask as he lightly pushes me against the wall. "Finishing what I was going to say before he came in there." He said before leaning down and kissing my forehead. "You look beautiful tonight, and I'm walking you to the party." Blush covered my cheeks as I smiled. "Thank you." I mumble before he grabs my hand and we walk off down the street.
