Something hit my face making me stir and attempt to turn over, but I couldn't. I cracked my eyes open to see only an inch of sunlight. That's when I saw all the green surrounding me. I was under a tree. Literally.

I started to panic when I saw my arm. It was bleeding and it was stuck under a branch. Pushing on the branch with my feet only made it worse when it moved. Why did I leave?! I gritted my teeth as I pushed the branch off me before climbing up.

Looking around I saw nothing but rocks and trees. No trace of my sister could be seen. I hope she found Zuko. It's not where I want her, but I'd rather her be with them then alone. Pain went through my arm as I looked around. She had my bag.

Carefully taking my white sash off, I wrapped it around the wounded part of my arm. "Where would they go?" I ask starting to walk in the direction my sister was last seen in. "I have to find you Armelle. I promise I will."

Soon night came, and I didn't know what to do. Sitting down under a tree I looked up as wind blew through the trees. Goosebumps appeared on my skin as I brought my legs to my chest.

This feeling in my gut and chest... It's almost as if I'm twelve again. I feel like I want to cry, and I feel lost and scared. Why did I have to regain my old emotions again?

After countless hours of shivering, the sun finally came up making me get up. If I were trying to hide from the fire nation, where would I hide? Well, if it were me, I'd hide either right under their noses or in another nation like I have for the past five years.

But the comet is going to be there, so they would probably hide under the nose. Zuko told me that his family never goes out to the house on Ember Island. So that's where I'll go.

Luckily I was nearby a dock and had some money stored in my waist purse I wear all the time, or I could totally use the ticket I still have from a couple months ago. Handing the ticket to the man, he stamped it and gave it back to me. This trip shouldn't take too long.

I sat on the deck and looked out at the water that was ahead of me. "Can I sit with you?" A guy that looked a little older than me sat down next to me. "What's a pretty girl like you on a ship alone? It's pretty dangerous." He says raising his eyebrow making me look at him closely.

"Especially one who is an enemy." The guys says making me stand up. "But I won't say anything because you're my friend."

"Mason?" I ask looking at him. "Oh my gosh." My arms go around his neck before I think too much about it. I needed a friend or else I was going to fall apart. "What are you doing here?" He asks pulling me away from him carefully watching my arm.

"I'm going to meet up with some of my friends. How about you?" I ask sitting back down next to him. "Well, I'm coming to stay out here while the comet is around. It's not going to be pretty in the capital."

I nod my head in understanding. "I wouldn't want to be there either."

"Are one of these friends you're going to see named Zuko?" He asks looking out at the water. "Yes. I ran away from him yesterday and got separated from my sister. I'm just hoping she found him."

"I'm sure she did."

Night had taken over the world as we docked. "Thanks for sitting with me Mason. I really needed that." I say hugging him again and saying my goodbyes. "Hey when all of this is over, maybe we can be real friends."

I turn back to him and smile. "We'll just have to see."

Walking along the beach side, I finally come to a house that looked familiar. "Please be here." I say walking up to the door and walking in. Fresh footprints were all over the dusty floors. I followed them out into the courtyard.
