Chapter 13 - A Part Of The Group

Arabella's P.O.V.

"I think that will have to wait." I smile hearing Tophs voice again. It's so nice to see a good old friend.

Appa moved revealing both Zuko and I to Katara, Sokka, Toph and Aang. "Hi, Zuko and Arabella here." I rolled my eyes at his attempt he did earlier.

"I saw you guys land down here, so I thought I would just wait for you here." He says shrugging his shoulder before Appa came over to him and roared in his face before licking him.

I shuttered as Appa's saliva ran off Zuko and onto the ground.

"I know you must be surprised to see me here." Zuko says before Sokka interrupts him. "Not really considering you follow us everywhere."

"Well.. Yeah.. Anyways.. I wanted to tell you that I'm good now and we think that we should join your group. Also, Arabella and I can teach Aang fire bending." Zuko says looking back at me before looking at Aang.

"You want to what now?" Toph asks. "You can't honestly think that we could trust you? Do you think that were that stupid?" Katara question with a hard look on her face. "I've done some good things! I could have taken your bison in Ba Sing Sei, but I set him free instead."

"Appa does seem to like him." Toph says making me look over at her. "Everyone makes mistakes. No one should be held against them for it. That's just cruel." I say stepping up as I was getting tired of all this. My energy was draining again.

"Oh, you're right Arabella. But, what about the time he attacked our village, or the time he stole my mothers necklace and used it to track us down. How is that for mistakes?" Katara shot back.

"A village gets attacked every day. You shouldn't have let the necklace out of your sites if you didn't want to lose it. It might be around your neck Katara, but it can slip. And obviously it did." I say as Zuko puts his hand on my shoulder. I knew he was telling me to shut it.

"I know I've done some pretty messed up stuff. I'm sorry for doing that and I'm sorry for attacking the water tribe. I'm sorry that I sent that assailant after you-" "Zuko!" I yelled before he looked over at me.

"You sent combustion man after us? He almost killed up by blowing us all almost up." Sokka says. "Well, that's not his name, but-" "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend your friend."

"Aang. Why aren't you saying anything? You were the one who once said we could be friends." Zuko says ignoring Sokka and looking over to Aang.

Aang was silent for a moment before looking up at us. "There's no way we could trust you after everything you've done. We'll never let you join us." Zuko's eyes went wide as he tried to explain more. They only offered their weapons.

"If you won't take me as a friend, take me as a prisoner." Zuko says getting down on his knees and holding out his hands. I looked down at him in awe. This is something he really really wants!

"Get out of here Zuko!" Katara yelled splashing him with water sending him back. "You two better leave and if we ever see your faces again.. Well, we better not see them again."

I sighed helping Zuko up before turning to them. "Thanks for nothing." I say looking at Toph and she knew that I was talking to her. Zuko climbed up the rope before I did. Within the next few minutes we were back where we started. At the tent.

I got out my blanket before putting my bag down so that it was comfy. "We better get some sleep Zuko." I say looking at him as he sat by the fire. "Alright." He says coming into the tent and making his palate.
