After a traumatic late childhood event, Arabella is off on an adventure to find herself and maybe even some love along the way. As she is welcomed into the Avatars gang, what will become of her?
"I'm so excited to spend the weekend on Ember Island." Tylee says as I look off into the distance. Every now and then, a spray from the Ocean would sprinkle in my hair. I love the ocean. "It's going to be great to sit on the beach and do nothing."
I agreed with Tylee. I haven't been to a beach for a while and I need it.
"Doing nothing is a waste of time. We're being sent away on a forced vacation. I feel like a child." Zuko says getting up as I groan. "Lighten up. So, dad wants to meet with his advisers alone with no one around. Don't take it personally."
That makes me wonder what's happening. I almost have a feeling Azula knows about it.
Finally, the dock came into view. A smile took place on my face looking the island over. "You seem excited. How long ago was your last visit to a beach?" Tylee asks me. "I think it was over a year ago." I answer thinking back.
We all walked off the boat to be met with the old twins. "Welcome to Ember Island kids." They say together. Everyone looked up at the house we were staying in. I could hear every groan a bit. All of them were expecting a big house. I was too, but this one is so cute looking.
"It smells like old ladies in here." Zuko says quietly. I smack his arm gently. "Gee, I wonder why." Mai says looking at him.
"Who are these beautiful woman?" Tylee asks pointing to the picture. "Can't you tell? It's Lo and Li." They say posing like the girls in the picture. Zuko gagged in his mouth.
They showed us to the rooms we were staying in.
"We know you are upset that you were forced to come here this weekend. Ember Island is a magical place. Keep an open mind. Give it a chance. It can help you understand yourself and each other." One of them picked up a rock.
"The beach smooths each rock, even on the roughest edges." Azula yawned a bit. "Time to hit the beach!" They dropped their robes. Mai and I covered Zuko's eyes. That's when she looked at me. I couldn't read her look.
I will stay away from Zuko for a bit so she doesn't go off on me.
I changed into my swimming outfit and put my cover up over it. Before going out the door I grabbed my towel I brought. "Let's go already." I say excited as Tylee and I squeal a bit.

Once we were on the beach, the first thing Azula did was destroy a sandcastle. The kids ran off crying. I felt bad for them. It was a really good castle.
A guy came up to Tylee and offered to set up her things. I roll my towel out and lay down sighing. It's been forever.
"I saw it and thought it was pretty." Zuko's voice says. Do! Not! Look! "Yeah maybe stupid girls." Mai replied. "Forget it!" Zuko yelled. I looked up to see him throw a seashell. I looked! I look to where the shell landed to see a guy pick it up and bring it to Tylee.
