The Fire Within Us All (Completed)

Chapter 21 - Everything is Blue

Third Person's P.O.V.

'Something is totally off about her. It's almost as if she's finally snapped.' Arabella thinks while looking around. 'No guard in sight, but why? Of all days, why did she dismiss them. Azula of all people would have kept them around with this being her coronation day.'

"I'm sorry it has to end this way brother." Azula states with sarcasm dripping from her voice as Zuko shakes his head. Not in any way was she sorry. Azula took her stance as Zuko took his before fire bursts from behind them and clashing in the middle.

'One wrong move and he'll be a goner.' Arabella sighs before flashes from her dream came back. 'Can she create lightning?' She wonders as blue fire lights up the area. Arabella puts her hands up to stop the fire from reaching Katara.

"This isn't right." She says looking over at Katara with worry clear in her eyes. "She's playing him!"

Azula kicks up fire while spinning around and throwing more fire at Zuko. He blocks all of her attacks before sending some fire of his own. The palace had caught fire as well as the other surrounding quarters of the city.

Arabella's eyes widen as she watches Zuko's feet slide back a little from the fire being pushed at them. There was so much heat in front of the two girls that it was not easy to hide the sweat dripping from them.

Azula shot a huge blast of fire towards Zuko only for him to counter it with more fire and divide the fire away. 'Waves of fire. I've never seen his use this much.'

This only made Azula angry as she flew towards him with fire behind her. "She's lost it." Katara says out loud as Arabella agrees. "I've never seen her like this before."

She shot fire towards her brother as she flew in circles around him. Zuko threw huge waves of fire towards her trail of fire to attempt to knock her down. Eventually, one hit and Azula crashed into the ground and slid several feet away.

"No lightning today?! Afraid I'll redirect it?!" Zuko yells as Arabella's eyes go wide.

'Arabella!!' His voice echoes in her head as Azula readies her stance and creates electricity.

"Zuko, no!" Arabella yells as Katara and her rush towards him and stand behind him in a stance to fight. Just at the last minute, Azula looks towards Katara and pushes the lightning towards her.

Everything slows down as Zuko runs towards the bolt of lightning only to be pushed out of the way by Arabella who takes the lightning to her center and tries her hardest to redirect it, but fails and she falls to the ground.

Electricity gathered around her as it went up into the sky as she gasped and held her hand up to redirect it.

"Arabella!!" Zuko shouts running towards her as she gasps for air. Katara runs towards the two only to be stopped by fire as Azula laughs and runs towards Katara.

"Zuko, I can hardly breathe." Arabella gasps as they both glance towards Katara. "Help her. She's going to need help."

"No, I can't leave you." Zuko says as he brings Arabella closer to him while brushing the hair from her face that has stuck to it because of sweat. "Why'd you do that. I would've gotten there in time." He whispers as tears run down her face.

"Because, I love you." She says looking up at him and bringing his lips down to hers for a gentle kiss. He hugs her closely before picking her up and taking her to lay beside Appa. "I love you too."

Arabella smiles towards him before motioning for him to go. "She needs you. I'll be fine. Go claim your crown."
