Indigo
As soon as he's gone I grab my toothbrush and continue to sharpen the end of it. It is annoying how slow work is and I'm worried he'll walk in without me seeing or hearing him. Slowly the end sharpens and I'm confident that with a good and accurate stab I'd be able to kill someone. I continue to sharpen it imagining scenarios about how to kill my captor.
I've never found joy in the killing part of my job. It's always been. question of us vs them but now, for the first time I think this will be one kill I won't lose much sleep over. I feel the now sharp plastic end of the toothbrush. He killed my parents, he keeps my kind as slaves and he turned me into a freak. This is one kill for the cause that I won't mind.
Phoenix
I stare down at the man lying on the ground. He'd put up a good fight but was no match against a stun gun. I wiped the blood from my lip, He'd jumped down from a tree onto my back. At close quarters stun guns are a lot harder to use and he'd gotten a few good hit sin before I'd managed to shoot him.
Aron grins at the twenty-three humans who are now cringing back from him. He's already called my men to come and pick them up and they all sit there tied to trees. " What do you want with that one?" Aron asks as he nudges the unconscious man.
I secure his hands and feet in case he wakes up and then pick him up while saying "This was the one that escaped, I want to deal with him." Aron nods and again I'm glad our soul windows don't change white like other's do if they tell a lie. I dump the man in the back seat of the car and Aron acerbates off, smoking rubber filling the air.
I look behind to see my men herding the captured people into the containment ships. It had been so easy. Even with two of us the humans had fled, fearing we were a larger force. Chaos and panic made them run without thinking with only. A few like the one in the trunk putting up a fight. Remembering the hunt has my soul windows turning a deep black again and Aron begins to laugh as he notices "Just a shame we didn't get a few more." He remarks. A lot had gotten away but twenty-three plus one escapee was a good haul.
Aron drops my escapee and I off at my estate and we each slap each other on the back as our way of saying bye. I thank him for the welcome distraction and waving he drives off while yelling, "No worries, we should make this a weekly thing!" I smile and nod. Soon he's gone in a cloud of dust.
The man is starting to mumble and I quickly pick him up. I slip a chain and collar around his neck before tying him to a chair in my room. I double check to make sure his bonds are secure and give a smile. Leaving the glass frosted so as to not ruin the surprise I open the glass and let myself into her room.
Indigo
I can feel the air change as he opens the glass and I quickly put the toothbrush back making sure the sharp end is hidden. He calls out and I make my way out to where he is waiting. I scowl at him though he returns my look with nothing but a smile, " so if your name is not Kara what is it?"
I retort, " You said you'd leave me alone until dinner." I'm not one for small talk with my captor.
Phoenix smirks at me "Yeah I did say that, but then I remembered that I'm the one in control not you. Now tell me, what's your name?" I notice that his markings change slightly red for passion or lust and a slight yellow for anger.
I swallow but keep my voice even "I control myself and until you understand that, I'm not telling you anything," I expect Phoenix to get angry but instead he smiles.
