Once Phoenix leaves I look over the clothes he's left for me. I grimace, the clothes are impractical and leave way too much skin exposed for my liking. I look between the clothes on the bed and the dress I'm wearing At least the new clothes are pants.

I quickly rip the dress off and get dressed. Inspecting myself in the mirror I admit I look hot. Now if only I was meeting Demon instead of Phoenix. The pants are made out of soft stretchy leather that clings to my legs showing off my toned calves and thighs. They are a dark chocolate brown that reminds me of the bark of the forest.

I turn around to inspect the back and see that my butt looks good in them. The pants aren't the problem. They a bit tighter and more form fitting than the jeans I usually wear but it's the shirt that's making me squirm. Again it's made out of soft leather the same colour as the pants and is laced up at the front.

The only problem is the laces have knots in them to stop me from lacing the front up entirely meaning that a bit more cleavage than I would like is in sight. The other thing is the shirt ends at the bottom of my ribs leaving my flat stomach bare. If it weren't for the fact that I'm wearing pants I'd rather wear the dress. It's less revealing.

I look at the array of things that have been left for my hair and instead just brushed it to get rid of the knots before pulling it up into a ponytail at the back of my head. I admit that the gold clips and jewels combs are beautiful but that doesn't change who owns them.

I decide to keep the dress in hopes of making clothes out of it that cover more of me and are comfy. As I'm trying to find a place to stash the dress hoping that Phoenix will forget to take it, I hear a sharp intake of breath behind me. I spin around to see that Phoenix is back, his eyes focussed on me.

One look at his markings tells me all I have to know. Every mark is ruby red with black outlines. Phoenix has switched into hunting mode and it's his lust that's driving him. I blame him for putting me in these clothes. Phoenix takes a step closer and I fly into action.

I need Phoenix to regain control of himself and until he does, I need him to stay away from me.

I jump over the bed and land on the other side. Phoenix's tail lashes to the side and a low growl comes out of his throat. He follows me over bed without hesitation as he chases me. I don't wait for him and running I skid to the side of the bed and run to the other side of the room. I look around and see one place where he won't be able to get me, the bathroom. If I can get there I can close the door and hopefully hold him off a bit longer.

I sprint for the door my muscles making me faster than I had been before the experiments. I can hear Phoenix growl as the thrill of the hunt fills him. I get halfway before Phoenix calls something out. I catch a flash of light and suddenly the glass is moving. It stretches and twists in front of me before finally settling as a solid wall cutting me off from the door to the bathroom. I skid to a stop and hit my fists against it in anger.

I turn back and see Phoenix smiling. I'm not sure if he's completely in control of himself or if the thrill of the hunt has clouded his mind. He starts to stalk closer never taking his eyes off me. He darts forwards and I fling myself to the side. He hits the glass next to me making a dull thud while groaning.

I begin to run around the room with him behind me. Sliding behind various pieces of furniture I evade him. It seems Phoenix has no intention of using the pendant, preferring the chase.

trying to avoid backing myself into a corner of the glass I turn to the left and with a leap Phoenix jumps in front of my path. I stop and turn only to find that he's tipped my bed onto its side as a blockade. I stumble back and find myself in the corner of the glass box, exactly where I didn't want to be.
