When Jody arrives in care and soon befriends Tyler she sees him as the funniest person in the house and Tyler's quite lucky because no offense to Rick but he had someone his age and saw and believed in him much more and she's always defended him from everyone this will be shown again in further chapters.. Jody stood by Tyler everytime even more times than rick did even against him to defend Tyler

Throughout the series Tyler and Jody pretty much together and the best one was when Tyler had blasted electra with a water ballon which also caused a rif between him and Rick Tyler goes through a bad time thinking he's going mad and later when he locks himself in the bathroom jody is very worried about him and during the encounter and after jody gives them both an earful of how they were both so mean to Tyler and especially gives Rick notice.
