After defending her and setting of to find jody with mo and Bailey they finally find Jody in a block of flats but it's who she's with that worries Tyler more
When he sees Kingsley for the first time since when Tyler and Carmen went to save jody in season 1 episode 4 SOS he is every right to worry of what he could do to her.
He is polite though for Jody's sake "hello Kingsley"
Then when Mo and Bailey reveal they know jody thieved from their home Tyler's more concerned about getting jody away from Kingsley and back home safe
"you have to come back to ashdeen ridge"
"I'm only going back to tell Mike about me living here"
To which they are like you can't
"Watch me"
It's this part that hits home for Tyler after everything they've been through
Best friends forever is shattered when
Jody tells them off you think you know everything don't you going round stocking your noses in it we'll I don't need it and I don't need you
It hurts him more because she purposely connects her eyes with Tyler's to make it clear
She didn't need him either.
"any of you" she shuts the door and the three are left outside Tyler trying to process what she's just said and Bangs on the wall hard
He's crushed when she tells him he doesnt need her and tries to pretend he doesn't need or care about her...
