Once Jody said the line asking me out and Brandon I knew this scene was gonna be bad for my soul.

You can see both heartbreak in one Tyler right at the beginning when he learns she was asked out by someone who wasnt him and before she even tells him she said no off course he assumed shed said yes.

When she tells him she said no she really urges him to see if he feels the same for her
