Harmony

Chapter 2

I was walking into the school corridor with Austin as I was walking threw I could here whispers from the different groups of people

"Do you think that I should audition?" One voice said

"I'm going to and I think that I might land the part" said the other voice

"It won't hurt to try right?" Said another

I was so distracted by the voices that I bummed into a girl

"Omg I'm so sorr..." My voice trailed off I bummed into the "it" girl of the school

Megan

"Ughhh!! Watch it you just ruined my 500 dollar dress you idiot!!"

I stood there frozen a crowd was starting to form around us

"How did she ruin it if she didn't spill anything on you?" Replied Austin

She completely ignored Austin her icy eyes where on me

"I don't want melydofus germs on my dress" she snickered

"I'm sorry are we still in middle school?" Said Austin

She peeled her eyes off of me and on to Austin

" no we aren't but how come you still dress like we still are" scoffed Megan

I looked up at him his cheeks where starting to turn red as the crowd laughed

"I'm sorry but we didn't mean to cause any problems" I said my voice shaking

"Oh look she speaks" said Megan

She then stared walking around the crowd like if she was preaching "so if she can't speak what makes you so sure that she can sing hmmm?" She says looking at me

I then grab Austin's hand and walk out of the crowd

"See you at auditions!!" She yells behind us

The crowd dispersed and the bell rang to go to first period luckily me and Austin have first period free

We head towards the library and we sneak passed the old librarian who was asleep

And we take the table way in the back

"I'm sick of her!" I whisper-yell as I sit down

Austin however stayed quiet

"don't let her get to you" I said

He looked up at me "but she's right I still dress like how I was in middle school" he says

"Ok and what's wrong with that?' I asked

"What's wrong is that we are seniors now and I haven't changed" he said

"BS you shouldn't care what other people say about you" I said "besides I love your hair like this" I say while ruffling his hair

"Your the same old same old melody" he says

I give him a goofy smile

After school was over I went straight for my room as I opened it I was greeted by the smell of a dog I looked around and my once mint green painted walls where filled with brown paw prints and my clothes where ripped and scattered all across my floor I looked around and I saw

A little chihuahua popping it's head up out of my sheets

I was ready to explode "MOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!" I yelled

I then herd the sound of her heels coming up the stairs

"Wha-" my mom said she was shocked as much as I was

"What happened here!" I said

"TYLER!!!!!" My mom yelled

I then saw his little dirty blond hair walking up the steps

"Oh hey you found him!!" He said grabbing the dog off my bed

"I named him moody " he said holding up the dog

"We'll get moody out my room!!" I yelled

He walked out with the dog under his arm

"You don't need to yell at him" my mother said before walking out with my brother

I pulled my door for it to close and I look around I sigh and I go to my bathroom and run a shower I strip down and get into the warm water I then start remembering shawns song "kid in love"

And little do I know I start singing

Maybe I'm just a kid in love

If this is what's it's like falling in love then I don't ever wanna grow up

Cause we've got it all

Then I hear a yell

"melody shut up your annoying!!" Says my little brother

I sigh I get out of the shower and I dry myself off I wrap the towel around me and walk to my closet trying to find what's left of my clothes and I pull out a tang top and some shorts that I haven't worn in forever

I then walk to the guest room that we have and I fall asleep

"Tomorrow's the 12th" is the last thing I thought of before drifting off to sleep
