chapter 18

Melodys POV

once I had pulled away from shawn he then looked at me with love filled eyes

"you know that I always will love you melody no matter what" he said

I nodded and I hugged him again "we just can't be together..." i said

he hugged me back and rested his chin on top of my head "why don't we go do something fun?" he asked

I shook my head no and pulled away "shawn we have to go to the studio at 8:30 in the morning? may I remind you" I said

he chuckled "come on I promise that you will be home at 12:00 sharp" he said I then turned around to look at the clock and I noticed that it was 10:31

i sighed "fine but 12:00 sharp" i said he smiled and grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door as i grabbed my purse and keys shawn then came out behind me as i locked the door to make sure that Tyler was safe i then turned around and saw shawn with his hand out as i gave him the car keys

"you better not scratch my car shawn" i warned before climbing into the passenger seat

he then smiled a cheeky smile "no promises" he said i rolled my eyes at his comment while he climbed into the driver seat and he then revived up the car and he sped out of my drive way

"shawn! SLOW DOWN!!" I yelled out

he then rubbed the back of his neck "sorry im a little rusty.." he said while putting both of his hands on the wheel

We then drove around for so long

"Shawn do you even know where we are?" I asked

His eyes where on the road "yes just sit back and enjoy the ride" he said

After a couple of minutes I grew tired and fell asleep

I then woke up with a sudden jerk my eyes where wide oped I was panicking and frantically looking around until I spotted Shawn he was out of the car and sitting down on the floor I then climbed out of the car at made my way to him and sat down next to him

"Oh your up"he said

I nodded "where are we?" I asked

He smiled "just look around.." He said

I then looked up and saw a million stars i was speechless there where so many stars it looked so beautiful Shawn then chuckled

"Have you never seen this many stars before?" He asked

I then shook my head no "there aren't many stars where I live and I really never bother looking up at night.. Weird isn't it?" I asked

He shook his head no "it's not but don't worry when we are on world tour together we will look up every night" he said

I smiled

Then there was silence not a heavy silence a nice light silence I then looked up again it was almost if I could like reach for the stars and touch them 

It wasn't long before we left I got into the car and turned up the radio

"When you fall asleep tonight just remember that we lay under the same stars..
And hey I know there are somethings we need to talk about
But I can't stay just let me hold you for a little longer now.."

I then found myself singing along to Shawn's song ""never be alone""

I looked over at Shawn and he was smiling he then reached over to grab my hand but the car swerved so he had to put both his hands on the wheel again I laughed then he laughed with me

"So much for a moment.." He said

I rolled my eyes "don't worry there will be a lot more" I said
