Chapter 4

I was up and running today was it the auditions! I was so nervous I checked the clock and it was 2:30 in the afternoon I had dragged Tyler out of bed and I called Austin to give me a ride to the auditions we where at our local coffee shop Tyler was in the bathroom and Austin was waiting for him when I herd all this noise outside

"Hurry and lock the door!" The voice said to me

Me I was in Panic mode and I locked it and I pulled the screens down

"Gosh thank you so much you saved me" said the voice

I looked up at the person talking to me

"Omg Shawn Mendes..." I thought

"Y-your W-welcome" I said

He smiled "I'm Shawn" he said as he stuck his hand out to shake mine

I gave him a nervous smile "melody" I said shaking his hand  it was so soft like velvet

We looked at Each other I was staring into his chocolate brown eyes he was like an open book that I was reading

I pulled away "looks like the paparazzi went away maybe it's safe for you to leave?" I asked

He chuckled "the paparazzi are always there I found one hiding in a bush the other day" he said

I laughed "it must be crazy being famous" I said

"Sometimes it has it's perks" he said

It was so easy talking to him he didn't feel like the famous person shawn mendes he felt like the kid from Toronto Canada

"Are you going to auditions today?" He asked

I nodded "ya I guess I'll see you there?" I replied

He smiled "see you" he said before walk out the door

"God what's taking Tyler so long" said Austin interrupting my thoughts

"He takes his time but, guess who came walking threw the door!" I said

"Who" he asked

"Shawn Mendes!!" I replied while screaming like a fan girl

"Woah slow down you gotta save that voice for later" said Austin

Then Tyler came out of the bathroom "you guys its 3:30 it's best if we leave now" he said

I was suddenly back into rush mode again

"Austin come one we gotta GO!!!" I yelled while running towards the car

The both of them followed me into the car and Austin turned on the ignition and we where off

It was 3:45 I entered the building

"You guys wish me luck" I said

They both waved goodbye at me

As I entered the building a lady there told me to sign in and pull a ticket

"You've got to be kidding me " I thought

I got number 53

But fortunately I was the last one in line so I had more time to rehearse

"Number 51" said a voice the girl that was 2 in front of me went in

"Breath melody breath you already met Shawn so you know that he's nice" I thought

"Well well well if it isn't melodufous" said the voice

I rolled my eyes

"Megan" I thought

"You can barely talk what makes you think that you can sing?" She said

I looked down at my shoes

"Ignore her" I thought

"Number 52" said the voice again

"Ha look at her girls she's nervous but don't worry my daddy has connections so I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna get the part and Shawn" she said while walking away

"Number 53" said the voice again

I went inside the auditorium it was dark and it was only dimly lit there was a stage and as I walked up the steps I saw Shawn he smiled at me

"Gosh his smile tho" I thought

I got on the stage

"Anytime your ready" said the manager

They pulled out the piano for me I sat down preparing to play the first key
