Melodys POV
"Mom?" I ask the lady standing in-front of me
She smiles "oh my melody im so glad you recognize me!" She squeals she then pulls me into a hug
"Ummmm?" I say feeling uncomfortable i then pull away
Her smile then drops "what's wrong?" She ask
"What happened to your brown hair? And you dad where's the dirty blond hair??" I ask
She smiles "well i was trying to look trendy and so was your father so we got tanned and dyed our hair"
I then glanced over at the clock it was 9:26 i had to leave
"Umm mom im gonna go.." i say while pushing past her and grabbing my keys
She puts her hand on my shoulder "but mel we gotta catch up.." she says desperately
I push her hand off gently "ill be back promise" i say while grabbing my jacket and opening the door to welcome the cold air inside
"Just gotta recollect my thoughts.." i add while i close the door behind me and i walk down the steps and into my car i then tun on the ignition and pull out my drive way and onto the solid rode
After a couple of minutes on the rode I finally arrive at the park i park my car and walk to the swing set and wait
i rock myself back and forth i then hear footsteps behind me the heavy feet crunching the soil and gravel underneath i then tense up i hear them get closer until a cold hand touches my shoulder
I then bolt up and punch the person my fist making contact with his cheek but he barely even flinched i then freak out and close my eyes and stick my hand out as a shield
"Please don't kill me!" I manage to say bracing myself for any pain
The man then laughs "im not gonna kill you mel" he says
I then recognize the mans voice
"Shawwwnn!" I wine "Don't scare me like that!" I then pout and sit back down into the swing
He laughs once more and sits next to me "awww don't be like that mel" he says and he pokes me
"Don't touch me" i mutter and i turn away from him
"You know i was really happy to be on that show today but i wanted you by my side so just know everything i said was true.." he says
I then turn to face him "Are you ready for tomorrow?" I ask
"As long as i have you im ready for anything" he says and he grabs my hand a intertwines it with his
I feel a rush come over me my hearts racing and i feel so happy to have him by my side
I smile and blush "Im happy that i won that competition because i got to know you better.." i say
He pulls me close and he places his hand on my cheek i then come closer our faces only inches apart we are so close to kissing that his lips brush against mine ever so lightly
i was about to seal it with a kiss until i see a camera light go off and the click of a camera sound right in front of us
