Chapter 14

After a couple of hours of watching pitch perfect the first and second one and terrible singing we finally stopped watching movies and we took a break

"You know I think that it's getting late I should go home" said Austin

I sighed "ya sure I'll see you later" I said as I walked him to the door he stood there at the door and he pulled me in for a hug it was a soft hug like the one filled with emotion and love I finally pulled back

"It was really nice to see you again Austin sense I've been so busy lately" i said

He nodded "same here" he said as he opened the door and walked into the midnight mist

I closed the door behind him and sighed I then walked up to my room and plopped on to my bed until I herd the door bell ring

"I just got into bed" I thought

"I'm coming!!" I yelled as I sped my way down stairs and opened the door my eyes went wide as I had a pair of familiar brown eyes staring back at me

"Shawn what are you doing here it's like 10:30?" I asked motioning him to come inside he sat down on my chocolate brown couch

His eyes showed uncertainty as I closed the door behind him and made my way to the couch and sat beside him

"Shawn is everything ok?" I asked

He stayed quiet and he didn't look me in the eyes he was nervous as he rubbed the back of his neck and ran his hand threw his brown hair

"Melody..." Was the only thing he managed to say his voice was heavy and he had uncertainty in his voice as if he was scared

I put my hand on his arm and he jerked away from my touch I scooted back

"Shawn what's wrong?" I finally managed to ask ,you could tell that there was hurt and worry in my voice

"I-I think that I'm falling in love with you melody.." He spoke

And with that single sentence the room grew heavy

"But-" he added "I can't be with you melody I'm sorry but, we have to keep things professional and you can only see me when we are working on the song, so come by tomorrow and we can continue.." He said like a robot it was like he kept reciting it in his head until he memorized it

I felt my heart shatter into a million broken pieces the room was heavy I could feel tears starting and wanting to fall I stood up and walked to the door I could feel Shawn's eyes on me

"I understand" I managed to croak out I didn't face him because the hot tears where falling i opened the door

"Thank you for coming Shawn and I would appreciate if you leave please" I stressed the last word to he would get the message

He stood up and walked to the door "yes I understand thanks " was the last thing he said before walking to the car that was parked onto my drive way

I looked into the car windows but they there tinted I could only make little parts of Shawn and someone else inside the car Shawn was in the passenger seat and the other person was on the drivers seat he was talking to Shawn and Shawn only looked the other way and nodded his eyes met mine and I simply closed the door so I couldn't see him anymore

I walked into my room and laid on my bed and let my pain all out tear after tear a sob escaped my throat I noticed a little figure standing at my door way

"Melody why are you crying?" It said it came closer to me

"Tyler can you sleep with me tonight?" I asked between sobs

He nodded and cuddled with me while he turned off the lights to the lamp beside us

As I slept all I could think about Shawn and how we slept together I could almost feel his heart beat in his chest as I feel asleep wishing that what had just happened was just a dream...
