Chapter 4 Lizzy The Lizard <3

     " Get up Drew!" My mom yelled as she walked into my room.

       To her surprise, I was already up.

       " Well isn't this a surprise, honey why are you up so early?"

       " Just thought I would go a head and  get up, so I would have a chance to clean out my truck a little and straighten up some things in there before I go pick up Jade."

       "Okkk?" My mom replied with an odd look on her face as she left my room.

      I probably did sound dumb saying that, but I wanted it to be nice and things for her.  I did have it a little clustered in there from football stuff. Plus I don't know maybe she....who am I kidding, the only reason I'm freaking out it because of her disorder. Which is really dumb of me.

     It was only seven, and I didn't have to be there to get Jade until seven thirty. So I went down stairs and turned on the T.V.. The next thing I knew, I woke myself from hearing myself snoring. Great I overslept!

     I pulled out my phone and looked at the time, Seven twenty six. I didn't have much time to get there. I hurried up grabbed my keys and got in my truck.  It was hot in there so rolled down the windows, and pulled out of the driveway.

      I pulled into their driveway just in time. The house was nice and small. It was one story but had two built up windows at the top that made it look larger. The outside was white and the shudders were black, they had a nice front porch decorated with ferns hanging down and a rocking chair. It look like a house straight out of country themed movie.

      I watched Jade and her mom Cindy walk out, her arm around Jade. I thought it would be best to get out of my truck and go up there. If it were any of my friends or Leelee I wouldn't, but it was different with Jade. So I got out of my Truck and started to walk up to the porch.

    I payed attention to the ground as I walked, because I felt a little awkward.

    " Hi Drew how are you this morning?" Cindy asked?

    "  Just fine ma'am and you?"

    " couldn't be better now that I know your taking Jade to school, I can finally be at ease knowing she's safe!"

   " Yes ma'm"

   " You have a good day day Jade, you go ahead and go with Drew now!" Cindy said kissing Jade on the cheek. " Bye you two!"

    I had this weird feeling in my stomach, now that I knew it was just Jade and me. I was sitting in the drivers seat waiting for her to get in. I couldn't help looking at her. She was so pretty the way the wind was blowing her hair, but I knew we could never be.

    " Hi Jade." I nervously said clearing my throat.

    " Hey there!" Jade beamed with a smile on her face.

     I smiled back at her.

    " Uhh.. does it feel ok in here for you?

    " Well I'm actually a little cold."

    "I'll role up the window for you."

     " Ok, Thank you."

     We rode to school the rest of the way in silence. We pulled into the school parking lot close to time for the bell to ring. I got out of the truck and when I shut my door I noticed Jade was still sitting there. Crap I hope nothings wrong.
