okay, i admit, i was pretty in this dress, but it seems like it isn't enough. i need to be the least presentable around ravi.

my mom then knocked on the door, for the nth time to check on me.

"mom, i swear if you're going to blabber about me being late already, i still have 3 hours!" she then barged in the door, smiling widely.

"i was not going to," then held my hands, "you look pretty."

"oh yes i do." i joked and looked at the mirror.

"but i have my faults, hyerin." she said, still smiling. i tilted my head to the side, confused. "i can't neither your dad, can pick you up after the wedding."

"why is that?"

"we have a business."

"okay. i'll just have to bring civilian clothes then change up after the wedding. i ain't going home like this after."

"oh no you don't have to honey, i've informed somin already."

"what did she say?"

"someone like wonwoo? wons-- someone with the name like that. she said that your partner, most probably, got you and will bring you home." i scrunched my nose, remembering who was my partner again.

"holy sh--uh,  mackamoly, wonshik?" i yelled, leaving mom speechless.

"language, my dear. somin got it already okay." she slyly smiled, knowing that he's someone special to me with my reactions. she then got to the door and turned back again to me, "good luck hun, i love you." then got out.

i quickly got my phone in my pouch and called somin.

"JEON SOMIN YOU BRAT!" i yelled right after she picked up.

"ohoho~ well someone got a high voice. what is it?"

"you didn't tell wonshik yet, haven't you?" hearing that she chuckled made me nervous enough.

"thank me i haven't. but.."

"but?" i tapped my foot repeatedly, waiting for her answer.

"he would fetch you at around 3:30."

"what?!"

"what what?"

"i wasn't informed!"

"that's natural! he's your partner after all."

"it isn't! it's just a wedding!"

"so you're telling that my parents' church wedding is JUST a wedding?"

"i didn't mean it in that way, sorry, but yours was intentional!"

"okay so let me have a deal with you."

"what?" i waited for it, knowing that it would still be dumb but still, helpful.

"let him fetch you and you can go home on your own. i wouldn't let your parents know."

"deal, then!"

"okay then, it's almost 3:30. go get ready!!" she shouted cheerfully, "i'll hang. let me hang up on you. you always do it i wanted to do it also." then she hung up.

truly, jeon somin.

i took one last look on my mirror then to my clock that read an exact 3:30.

my heart was beating so fast, i didn't know what to do so i sat in my bed, breathing hard.

then someone knocked on my door, i knew it was time.

he's here.

my mom walked in with a big smile, "he's handsome," took a step closer, "tall," closer, "looks rich," another, "elegant," i knew i fucked up, "and he looks kind. fuckboy half, and another no." and she was in front of me. i was flustered by her choice of words, sitting beside me. "basketball player, isn't he?" she smiled, then i nodded. "go get him!"

"wait what?" i tilted my head on the side once again, baffled.

"just go down already! he's waited too much." i heaved another heavy, deep, long sigh then shaking my head a bit. "we'll be back by midnight so remember to lock the doors." i nodded again and left her in my room.

i went down the stairs, cautious of every step i take. i was nervous, and my heels aren't helping at all. when i was 2 steps down, i looked at the visible living room couch and saw him there, waiting patiently.

"oh my god, he's hot in a fucking tuxedo." i was in a trance until my father popped out of nowhere.

"oh yeah he is, now go with your elegance, lady." i smiled slyly and went to ravi, nervous.

"hi." i awkwardly said and looked at him. "im sorry you waited."

he seemed to eye me from head to toe, making me flustered once again.

"uhm, ravi." it was 2 minutes that he's been eyeing me and it was making me more nervous.

did i try too hard?  thoughts came coming in my head and called him again. he bolted up and said, "you can call me wonshik. im not comfortable with ravi at all and i want us to be most comfortable." he smiled and offered his arm. "ready?"

"uh.. well, yeah.. i guess." i awkwardly took his offer and walked to the door with him.

when he was opening the door of the car for me, i felt really special and thanked him.

"not at all, princess."

BITCH CHOICE OF WORDS, PLEASE.  the voice inside my head yelled, making my spine shiver.

when he closed the door, he ran up to the other side, in the driver's seat.

before he went in, i heard my father yell a "take care of my daughter!", earning a glare from me inside the car.

we then went, with me profusely sweating invisibly, fidgeting and fiddling with my fingers.

ohoho, jeon somin you're gonna be dead meat.
