we all went to our rooms after that, and i just wandered my eyes around to look for wonshik.
but nothing.
he was found nowhere.
classes ended and i decided to ask somin his house.
"i texted you his address. make sure that if you reach there, DON'T, and i mean do not, pull any tricks there. his maid would most probably open the gate for you, just ask her. if she wants you to go in and ask his mother, have manners. just ask her if she has seen wonshik or where could he possibly be."
"yes mom?" i questioned my answer, somin being very serious all of a sudden.
"i'll go try contact him at home. okay?" she patted me, "he surely is okay." she reassured me seeing my worried and nervous face.
"can i help?" hangyeom suddenly appeared and put his arm around my shoulder and i faced him.
"i'll give you wonshik's number, you just go contact him. i'll go to his house."
"i'll drive you."
"only to there, hangyeom." i said and chuckled, and he just smiled and nodded.
---
i arrived at his house-- or more like mansion, and i was beyond bewildered.
"goodluck. i'll try to contact him. and if he answers, i'll tell you right after." i nodded and sighed, and opened the car door.
"thank you hangyeom, stay safe." i smiled at him and watched his car fade.
once it was gone, i faced the big gates of his house and sighed again.
"is this the right address?" i asked hopefully and checked somin's text, which read 11-13..
i looked around the gates and saw the same numbers.
11-13.
"oh so it really is this house." i said sarcastically and blinked furiously. "here it is."
i pressed the doorbell once and i saw a young lady run to the gates and opened it.
"hi." i awkwardly said and she just smiled at me with a questioning look. "im looking for kim wonshik?"
"kim wonshik?"
"uhm yes. is he here? i was given a address and was said that this was the kim residence."
"i would suggest you go inside and talk to his mother, miss." she said and i was more nervous.
she gestured me to the living room and sat, patiently waiting.
then, after waiting for a little, a young woman in her 30's was going down their grand stairs.
i stood up politely and smiled at her while she did the same.
"goodevening, mrs kim, im sorry for bothering you."
"no, beautiful girl. its a good thing someone still visits me." she smiled, "sit, please."
i sat and she started the conversation.
"you were looking for wonshik?" she asked and i nodded.
"he stormed out of the school a while ago."
"well, you got the wrong house honey." i tilted my head, confused.
"he lives with his dad.", she smiled, "already."
"did something..?" i shook my head sidewards, "no, nevermind. its too personal to ask." i smiled at her and brought back my thoughts of wonshik.
"where could he be.." i thought and as if answering my questions..
"if he is not in the mood, he doesn't want to go home. so most probably he is around seoul." she said and i was dumbfounded. "i was just joking hun, there is this place and its his favorite place in letting all his emotions go."
"where is it?"
"at the city peak." she smiled, "just the one near han river honey, don't think otherwise that he'll hike a whole mountain." she said and we chuckled. "would you like anything before looking for him?"
"im fine mrs kim. i just hope i'll see him there."
we both bid our goodbyes and i quickly got a taxi to get me there.
---
and she was right.
there he was, lying on the smooth grass while staring at the– now dark sky, with shining stars.
"this is a great view." i said to myself, and stared at wonshik– staring at the sky.
after 10 minutes of not budging, i took up all of my courage and laid beside him.
he looked at me weirdly at first, but then sighed when he got to look at my face.
"why are you here?" he asked, not looking at me.
i shuffled and adjusted my position, side-laying just to look at the beautiful creature beside me.
"nothing."
"i'll melt."
"there's no sun." he eyed me weirdly and went back to looking at the stars.
"that's a bad joke." he chuckled and i smiled at how the wrinkles would appear beside his eyes when he smiled or laughed.
"why did you make a scene though?"
"i was jealous." my heart jumped when he said that, but was unsure of what he was jealous of.
"of?" i asked, half hoping the other was not.
"hangyeom." i felt like bursting to fireworks when he said that, but again then shrugged my feelings of when he started talking again. "i couldn't even hug you like that." he pouted and i just chuckled at him.
"that bitch is my bestfriend!" i chuckled while still staring at him, and lightly hit him.
"and im just a friend to not get any hugs?" he asked, with a serious face.
"the hell, wonshik. you're also a friend who need hugs!" i tackled him a hug, and we didn't know that we we're rolling around, laughing and stayed hugging.
until we came to a halt, which makes it me on top of him.
we were both mesmerized by the artworks which we're us, until he broke our eye contact and he looked at my lips, leaning in.
our lips were literally centimetres apart until i realized how much a fool i am, not knowing what status we stand.
