hyerin's pov

monday, again.

 well who doesn't hate monday?

me.

but, its like im waiting for mondays. im waiting for what's to happen when i look at wonshik, what it feels like to.

but now that we're close, i cant seem to find confidence to face him again, in my uniform.

im back at being myself, glasses, high socks and well, uniform and jackets.

i wear jackets rarely, but since the incident, i can't wear anymore comfortable clothes.

--

i walk to school, dazing and thinking what would happen this day.

would wonshik talk to me?

will he stay close to me?

would he be treating me the same?

all thoughts were shrugged when a car honked at me. i looked at all sides and i didn't know that i was at the school gate-- well, the school's parking lot, middle lane.

"ahgassi, aren't you late yet?" the man politely asked when he got off of the car. i looked at my watch and it read 7:15. our classes would start at 7:30.

"i'm still early at this point, though.." i mumbled, pouting. i went out of the way, making the cars pass by.

i dazed off again but was again cut off when someone poked my arm.

"eonnie, annyeonghaseyo,." a little girl, assumed 6 to 7 years old, bowed at me. i squatted infront of her and smiled.

"yes, hun? do you need anything?" i tilted my head, reading her face.

"nothing much, its just that you looked sad and someone wanted me to give this to you!" she jumped while giving me a lollipop with an attached flower on it.

"aw, thank you! but who would give this to me?" i asked the kid infront of me, but she just smiled.

"he's handsome!" and ran away.

what a great child that is. i watch her run to a car, visible from where i am, but when she was about to go inside, she faced me and bowed.

oh and a sweet one, let me add.

i looked at the lollipop and and the flower, to see that there was also a letter.

it read,

hyerin! i miss you~

do you miss me? of course you would! let me cut this short,

- you're late, -- i looked at my watch and ran to my room-

- you'll be running by now to your class room-- i scrunched my forehead when he or she knew what i was going to do next, and no, it was not magic like it appears after i've done something,.

- and you're there; i looked around the classroom

- and you're baffled why im here ; i look at the man infront of me, a tall one rather everything he was not when we were still kids,

"and ask me why im here."

"why are you here?" we both said and asked at the same time, making eye contact.

we just stared at each other for a while, not saying anything and him just smiling.

"how have you been?"he finally started to converse, but right when i was about to respond, i saw the teacher coming our way.

while i dragged him in an available seat, he just smiled still, letting himself get dragged.

he sat and then i too, sat infront of him where my seat was, -- beside somin.

somin suddenly clung to my arm, making me lean on her side.

"who's he?"

"childhood friend." i simply answered, conscious of what i was doing, every move.

because i feel like im being watched, everything i do.

every class ; he's there.

every recitation ; he claps.

every time i talk to someone ; he slings his arm on my shoulder.

every time i avoid him, he always clings.

when i look at wonshik, he intercepts.

"hyerin!" he shouted for the nth time, and i finally look at him.

"what? what do you need?" i half soul-ly asked him, slouching.

"now you dont have energy when you talk to me? -- i know, you're going to ask why im here. well? aren't we old enough?"

"what?"

"im here to confess my feelings all over again, hyerin."

"n--"

"let me continue," he covered my mouth, then released right after, "you said back then that we were still kids, but i needed to go to beijing. that's why im here, again, i never stopped, hyerin. please."

"look, i do--" i was again cut off when i saw wonshik running up to us.

"hyerin!" he caught up in jersey with the basketball, slinging his arm in my shoulder which made me shiver.

"wonshik."

"oh, you must be kim wonshik!" he suddenly shouted, making all people that pass by look at us, especially me and wonshik.

oho, im going to be dead in the hands of wonshik's fans.

"who is he?" wonshik whispered, and i just stared at him.

"yes, he's kim wonshik, the school's pride, basketball player. and wonshik, he's.." i started to worry.
