i started my day with a groan because i just fell off the bed. i checked my clock on the nightstand to see that it was already 6:45am and the school ceremony will start at 7:00. i quickly jumped off the ground and did my daily routine.

i got out of the bathroom fully dressed, hair dried and got a piece of bread from the kitchen and ran out of the house, leaving a note for my mom to see.

as i was running heavily with the piece of bread in my mouth, i saw hangyeom waiting while tapping his feet, looking at his watch with squinted eyes. i ran up to him and we ran to the school.

"have you gotten a proper breakfast?"

"nope, and im hungry." i pouted at him as we walk to the auditorium safe, without getting caught that we were late.

ha, dumb councils.

i scoffed and turned to hangyeom who was now eyeing me weirdly.

"what? i was cursing the school councils' in my mind." he chuckled at me and ruffled my hair. he then gave me a plastic which has a sandwich inside. "what's this?"

"my god, i think you're dumber."

"i mean, what's this for? suckass."

"uhm, for you to eat?" he said with a little bit of sass in his voice. "go hide behind me and eat that, you won't be able to pass the quiz in chemistry if you're hungry."

"wait, we have a quiz?!" i whisper-shouted and he nodded his head. "what the fuck,"

"excuse your language, lady."

"oops, sorry."

"its okay, babe. now go eat." he said as he stood infront of me and i quietly ate without getting caught.

the ceremony finally ended as the school bell rang. we both got our bags and headed to our class.

chemistry.

well, all i can do is to sleep.

i waited and waited for the teacher to give the quiz but nothing. until the class ended.

i was focusing on killing hangyeom when somebody tapped my shoulder with a pen while i was fixing my books.

"hyerin?" said a familiar voice. i turned to him with a smile.

"wonshik," i gave a 'what?' face and waited for him to answer but it was a good few minutes and he still wasn't saying anything. "well, if you're not going to say anything, excuse me but i need to kill hangyeom right now." i pat his arm and tried to leave but he just pulled me making me face him.

"i broke up with eunbi." he said, but most importantly, with no emotions. he wasn't sad neither was in the verge of breaking down, he's like.. happy and relieved, but a little bit of hesitance.

"why?" was all i can say, i wasn't happy either. i was just focusing on this human infront of me, worried that he hides his feelings in a mask.

"she was cheating on me, with that guy we saw. she dropped out of the school."

"oh.. sorry. im not good at giving advices." i said as i ruffled his hair. "but you'll be okay." i smiled at him.

"i am okay." he chuckled and i gave him a confused face. "i just have a question though,"

"what?"

"are you dating hangyeom? i mean, he always keeps you company, he calls you babe and you guys act like real couples which i don't know if its real." he pouted and you found it cute.

"well then are you dating jaehwan? i mean, you always stick together, you LEGIT stick close together only if he isn't a year older. you do all lovey-dovey things." i said with a little bit of mocking.

"hyerin!" he whined as he wiggled his long legs.

"they're not." somin suddenly popped out of nowhere. really is a crazy girl. i just chuckled and looked at somin who was approaching us. "i was waiting for hyerin and was getting annoyed why she wasn't getting out of the room to see this." then she glared at wonshik. "you never act like a kid!" then pointed at him. "don't tell me.." she squinted her eyes which made me squint mine also and shrug my shoulders in confusion. wonshik just smiled and waved slyly to us. "im telling you, he likes you."

"not a good joke."

"not my fault if you don't believe. i've been his friend for years, literal YEARS." i just chuckled at her, but to say that my heart wasn't fluttering would be a lie. we then went to the cafeteria where hangyeom, wonshik and his friends were. i sat beside hangyeom and hakyeon with sigh.

"you okay?" hangyeom asked as he gave me a tray of food.

"yeah, thanks." i winked at him and we suddenly heard someone cough nearly from choking. we all averted our eyes to wonshik who was now being comforted by jaehwan by patting his back lightly. 

"what happened to you?" hakyeon asked as he was holding his laughter in.

"just remembered something embarrassing." he smiled a fake one and continued eating. we all shrugged and continued eating until i remembered something. i glared at hangyeom who was now drinking water and glanced at me.

"what?"

"you told me that there was a quiz in chemistry a while ago!" i sternly said and slapped him lightly in the arm.

"okay, sorry, sorry." he chuckled and i just sulked. 

"i was really nervous that i'll fail the quiz."

"don't worry, you got me." he said and winked again at me.

i rolled my eyes at his playfulness until the bell rang, signalling that its time for classes again.

"let's hang out!" somin shouted as we were now walking to the gates with wonshik and his friends.

"where to?" hangyeom asked as somin looked at me.

"oh no, not my house." 

"your house is big!" she pouted and i got an idea.

"well someones got a bigger house." i looked at wonshik who was now widening his eyes in shock.

"your house is nearer!" he argued and i quickly fired back.

"they're looking for a big house!"

"but its far!"

"my god, are you seriously fighting with this? let's go to hyerin's house, and go to wonshik's next time." hakyeon suddenly cut in between of our argument and i sighed in defeat.

"let's go." i said silently while they cheered. i unconsciously smiled at their dorkiness while heading to their house.

when so suddenly, two bumped into my sides.

somin and hangyeom.

"you've got a lot to share to us." somin smirked and as i thought of it harder, it made me more curious.

"about what?" i asked hangyeom but he just smirked.

"knowing that wonshik's house was big." he scoffed as he went to the porch of the house and knocked.

i furrowed my eyebrows as we got in, welcomed by mom.
