SO for the new year I'm gonna say one good thing about every month for the past year, the bad things I'll be glad to leave behind and what I hope will happen this year.
January: Musical rehearsals started! That first day was so much fun.
February: I got to see Rent for the first time!!!!
March: I volunteered to help out with my old Elementary school's musical. They did Alice in Wonderland Jr and it was so cute.
April: I got my car!!
May: We performed Annie (the school musical). Also, the cast party was great.
June: School ended!! Went to counselor training for the first time.
July: I flew to England, took the train to Wales and saw the Doctor Who experience!! It was so much fun.
August: Got to go to the Rodin museum in France
September: Went to the Evergreen State Fair with my friend nightofgaming
October: Went to Geek Girl Con!! (Also I turned 17)
November: I... I did literally nothing wtf. I got a haircut? It's not even that dramatic a haircut, I took like 3 inches off. I saw Ragtime but that was sad and Into the Woods but I've seen that like 15 times so not really? I managed to survive a whole quarter of school! That's a good thing!
December: My best friend ShylyAngelic came up from New Mexico!!! We also saw Newsies which was pretty cool.
Also a couple general good things for the year: my boyfriend, all of my awesome friends, I have better teachers this school year than sophomore year, my dog is adorable, I've got a decent book that I might actually continue
And now the things I'll be glad to leave in 2017. You can skip these if you don't like negativity, it's fine: My grandfather's death, sophomore year, junior year so far, all the emotional breakdowns, the constant crying is getting annoying, my first time being a counselor, France and also Iceland and also most of the trip I went on this summer, not getting into this year's school musical, one of my closest friends ignoring me for the past 6 months
And last but not least, what I'm looking forward to this year:
Finishing Junior year
Finishing my NaNoWriMo book
The next time Em comes up from NM
Auditioning for another musical (hopefully I'll get in)
Doing tech for Anything Goes
