Okay so I'm in math right now but we had a test and I finished it with like an hour left of class and my teacher doesn't care if we're on our phones so I thought I'd update with what's pissing me off today.
So some background: my brother was diagnosed with ADHD when he was like 7-ish (or around that age idk). He's in 8th grade now and he's doing really well. I'm really proud of him.
Now the story: So one day about a week or so ago I walk into the kitchen where my mom and my brother were talking. My brother was telling her about how in class that day him and a group of boys were talking and somehow they move to the subject of ADHD so of course my brother says "oh I have ADHD." And this one boy says something along the lines of "ADHD doesn't exist". And I'm like:
*covers innocent ears*
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. LIKE ACTUALLY HOW IN THIS FUCKING WORLD DO YOU FUCKING THINK ADHD ISNT A FUCKING THING.
*uncovers said innocent ears*
Like I am so annoyed I'm actually shaking while I'm writing this. I believe when my brother told me this my exact words were, "who is it and can I kill them?" So to everyone who is reading this I want you to understand that ADHD is an actual thing.
