*Maki*

When I woke up next, Raven had her huge paws and head placed on my chest. I move my hand to her head and ruffle up her fur. Her big orange eyes blink open, then she realized I am awake and gave me a smile I would never forget. I laugh and sit up as she starts licking my face. The others come visit me as they wake up, and soon we're all gathered in the living room again. Oliver and Guti still have yet to have their fight. That's what we started planning while we all munched frozen eggo waffles well in my case, kinda burnt waffles thanks to my powers. Raven sniffled the eggo I was currently holding before quickly snatching it out of my hand, eating it in a few seconds.
"Raven!" I laugh, wrapping my arms around her neck. The others laugh as well, soon all seven of us, eight if you included Raven. Had finished off two boxes of eggo waffles. Demterius was practicing magic outside by himself. He had asked not to be bothered after he ate one waffle and put on his coat to head outside. All of us respect what he said and left him alone. Icicle was in the back yard starting to prepare the battle feild for the day.
Oliver and Guti were super excited, they had been rivals even in school when it came to battles with magic. Even when they went on the occasional magic job they would always team up and all together they were a good team. I usually went solo and Demterius sometimes tagged along with Guti and Oliver. Li and Icicle usually go together, Thomas and Aqua usually pair up as well. The others have left to go do various activities while waiting for the time of the fight. I get on the computer and look on the job board. I need to take a job, I hadn't really taken on since Dem came back. Rent money was coming up and I had yet to earn my share. I found a job it was quite simple and it paid my part of the rent. I click accept on the job and and it prints out on the printer. I pick up the job and read over it again.

Help!

Our village is being attacked by a witch!
She is very dangerous and uses fire and water magic from what we know but she could know more! The last one to set out for the witch has not returned please find him as well! We have gotten you a parnter to he or she will meet you in either Bronwich or on the train.

The witch lives outside of town!
Please help!

"Bronwich? Funny name for a town with a witch problem," I laugh to myself. I walk upstairs to my room and quitely throw a bag together. I put the paper in my bag and head back downstairs.

Raven saw my bag and looked up at me, 'where are you going Maki?' she asked bouncing along side me.
"I am going on a job" I say simply, heading towards the closet to grab by coat.
'can I come?,' she asks bouncing besides me.
"No"
'why?'
"Because I said no"
'But Maki! I wanna go! You shouldn't go alone,'  Raven pouts standing in front of the closet door so I couldn't get my coat.
"Raven, let me get my coat"
'not unless I can go with you!'
"Fine" I say with a sigh.
'yeah!' Raven continues to bounce around my feet as I put my coat on.
I head out the front door and see Dem still training. I smile as I see him trying to figure out what's going on with his own magic. "Dem I'll be back in a few days tell the others would you? I am going on a job"
I say walking behind him with Raven at my heals.
"Ok luck," he say but is the middle of a spell so he can't give me a proper response, I believe he was trying to say 'good luck'.
'Lets go!' Raven says happily, running ahead of me a few feet. I smile and follow her. Soon we make it to the train station because riding the train is the only way to get to this place. But this is no normal train station this is a train station for magic beings. Owls fly above the heads of crowds along with crows and doves, most of them carry letters or small packages. I buy two tickets, one for a human one for a magical companion, Raven's ticket.
"Train to Bronwich is now boarding," the conductor announces over the loudspeaker. Raven and I bored the train and sit in a booth, Raven lieing at my feet/under the bench. Soon the train starts to move and we are headed towards Bronwich.
A male wizard is sitting across from me his wand in a holder attached to his belt. His appearance was werid for his face was very kind and thoughtful looking while his clothes were mainly black with a few splashes of purple.

I try to start a conversation but he pulled out a notebook and started write something down. I look at him a little funny. But soon he hand me the notebook. He had written some word in very neat hand writing.

'Hello, sorry I may not speak with you because, sadly, I am unable to speak. But my name is Alexander Dogwood, who may I have the pleasure of writing to?'

"My name is Maki," I say handing Alexander back his note book, "and the wolf hiding under the booth currently is my partner Raven"
'I don't like trains!' Raven shouts to me.
Alexander handed the book back to me,  'You have quite and funny parnter Maki, why are you headed to Bronwich?'

I hand the note book back, "I am going to do a job, also you can hear Raven? Why are you going to Bronwich?" I ask looking down to my partner who was, to tell most laughable manner, currently sprawled out on the floor motion sick as she could be. Alexander sends the notebook back his words written on it again.

'Yeah, animal magic is one of my 2 magics. I can also do a bit of spark wand magic. I am going to Bronwich for probably the same reason as you, I have a job.'

I read it and send the notebook back across the table, "That's really cool, I use mainly fire magic, so what job did you take because I am supposed to have parnter but I haven't met her or him yet"
Alexander smiled and pulled a sheet of paper out of his backpack and sets it down infront of him them passes his notebook over.

'Looks like we are parnters.'
