Chapter 32(*)

*next day*

I awoke with Ravens paws on my stomach and her head on my chest, I smiles running her fur threw my fingers. I look over at Alexander's bed. He's asleep with his spell book on his face. I use a small bit of magic to carefully move the book off his face, put the book mark in it, and set it on the nightstand between the beds.
Ravens black fur rises and falls steadily with her breathing. Not wanting to wake the wolf I lay there. Wondering about what's going on at home. I reach for my phone, I have had it shut off since yesterday when I got on the train. I watch as the power on screen goes by as it normally does before finally allowing me to get on my phone. Suddenly multiple text messages chime -or should I say vibrate in because my phone is on vibrate- in, they are from different people, mainly Icicle, Guti, Thomas, and Li. Then there where two misses calls, both from Dem. I frown as I scrolled threw the text messages, they were all mad at me for leaving without telling them. After reading threw the messages I go and listen to the voicemail that Dem left me the second time he called.
"

Voicemail from Dem, message begans now. 

Hey Maki, hope you arrived in where ever your going safely. The others are mad at you for leaving with out notice. I tried to explain that you probably felt bad about not being able to cover your part of the rent for so long that's why you took a job. But there's something I want to tell you, while you where recovering, the others helped me and went on missions to cover your part rent. So don't fell bad. Good luck and don't die. Bye.
End voicemail"

I cover my mouth to avoid making sound. They covered my part of the rent, and didn't even tell me. I smile and remove my hand from my mouth. Ravens starting to wake up now her nose starting to move slightly. I end out a quick group message to the others.

"Hey guys, sorry for me leaving like that. I just feel so bad about you guys having to cover my part of the rent for so long while I was unable to even move at the worse part of me being sick."

I make sure the message sends and then power down my phone again, placing it back in my bag. Raven's orange eyes open and she yawns, 'Good morning Maki,' she says in my head as she gets up to streach, 'how did you sleep?'
"Good, you looked you you were quiet comfy," I smile, "did I make a good pillow?"
'Yeah' she says, Alexander beings to stir in his bed his cloak hanging on the coat rack, he was wearing a purple sleep shirt and black shorts. Alexander was tall, close to my height but he was definently taller, he stood about 5'11. His black hair fell loosely on his face, as he sat up.
"Hmm?" He bearly mumbled rubbing his eye looking for his spell book.
"You feel asleep with it on your face," I say, finally pushing Raven off me so I could sit up, "I put it on the nightstand"

e mouths the word thanks before standing. He slipped the book into his small pouch inside his cloak, which still hung on the coat rack.
"You want breakfast?" I ask him as he looked in his bag for his notebook he used for words.
He looks up and smiles before nodding his head, he points to himself and then does a quick movent of hand motions. I tilt my head, suddenly he realized I was confused.
He held up three fingers, then one finger.
"Three words, frist word" I say, this was like a game. He pointed to himself again, as if asking for me to guess the word.
"I?" I question, he nods
The first word was 'I' he then put up three fingers, then turns away from me digging threw his bag still trying to find the notebook.
"Third word"
He nods and looks back at me, he puts one hand next to his mouth and pretends to shout, mouthing what seems to be the word 'help'.
I smile, he was really good at this game, "Ok I'll let you help me, you were trying to say 'I will help' weren't you?"
He nods, before digging threw his bag again until giving up and sitting on the floor.
"Here," I say grabbing my phone, "I'll text my friend Li and see if she has read something useful to fix this"
He nods and stands back up, going into the bathroom to change. Raven sits patiently on the bed, waiting for food to be started.
I text Li, asking her if she had any spells for communication.
She found one, a spell that allowed another person voice to be able to be heard in your head. It was kinda like how me and the others could hear Ravens voice.
Soon Alexander comes out in black pants and a grey t-shirt. His hair looks less like a mop now and more like hair.
"Hey Alex guess what, my friend found a spell that should work," I say with a smile. He looks at me happily, a smile forming on his face.
"Hold still," I touch his forhead with the palm of my hand, my other palm touches Ravens head, "Link" I mumble softly, "state your names"

'Raven'

*Maki*

"Did it work?" I hear a voice rings clearly in my head.
It's Alexander's voice, I smile, "You have a nice voice Alex"
'I can hear it too!' Raven says bouncing around tail wagging happily.
"Ready to get cooking breakfast Alex?" I ask looking at him.
He smiles, "Yeah let's get started"

*Time skip, After breakfast*

After breakfast Alex, Raven, and I head out into the woods to being our search for the witch, Ravens nose was a great help, sniffing for any human like scent that could either be the witches or the missing wizards.
'That way!' Raven says her tail becoming as stright as an arrow and her nose pointed on the direction of the scent. Soon we come upon a cave. With a human sized entry way, Raven said the smell was coming from inside and that she could also smell blood.
Alexander places his hand on his wand, my hands start to heat up with fire, and Raven bends lower to the ground getting ready to pounce on anything at the moment.
