In the middle of the night I awoke to a small key, about the same size as Puppets, on my chest and a blanket wrapped around my shoulders. In front of me stood a very pixel-broken figure which was constantly shifting and glitching as she tried to move her mouth to speak.
"Rosefang!" I silently gasp, whisper yelling my response. "What happened! Are you okay!"
"I-I-I am s-sorry Mi-Mistre-Mistress," she spoke brokenly as she tried to speak. "B-But I-I ca-can n-not sta-stay long...."
I fumbled in my pocket for my older coin finding it, I quickly place it in her hand. I grab the key she has placed on my chest and hold it tightly in my right hand. Moving the key to my forehead I hold it there and say a few words softly, "Welcome home Rosefang"
Then she was gone, her fading smile stuck in my mind as before she dispersed she actives the coin and twirls it once. Then her pixel form fades and I am left holding the key to my forehead and not long after dose it flash. I remove the key from my forehead and look at it. It was a ironwood key, carefully carved, then enchanted to be much stronger than wood, it was now as strong as metal. In the bow of the key, the top part that you hold when, say unlocking a door, was a small piece of red and amber colored rock.
'Mistress!' a fimilar voice shouts in my head.
'Hello?' I respond, not quite recognizing this voice in my head quite yet.
'Mistress! It's us!'  a different voice says and then it hits me, not literally, this was the voices of my first two personalities, Puppet and Rosefang. They were back.

*Raven and Hatchet's conversation outside a few hours earlier*

"So..." Raven said once the two had made it outside, "You said the pack was attacked..."

"Yeah... Dad was one of the first to die... I was only one at the time... It was my first winter..."

"It's sad to hear that Storm was one of the first to go, how did you manage to survive?"
"Dad hid me under a tree stump and covered me in dirt, Second Mentri dug me out after the hunters left. I was one of two pup to survive. Altiri, he was the other. he is Mentri's son, he was born not long after you left."
"Mentri actually found a mate. That's surprising"
"and that's when HE showed up."
"Let me guess, his name is Arancka."
"Yeah, how do you know"
"Well, before I left you and your father to deal with my magic... I had a, lets call him a friend, and I told him to protect you. That is why the hunters did not find you, Arancka was protecting you. He hid your scent from the hunt dogs that the hunters always have with them." Then next to Hatchet appeared the inky-black wolf, his dark brown eyes the only break in his fur.
"Hello again Raven" He said with a sight bow, bending his front left leg to allow him to lower his head almost all the way down to the snow covered porch which we still sat on.
"Hello Arancka," Raven says dipping her head slightly in return to the inky-black wolf's gesture of his lower authority to her. "you did a good job of protecting Hatchet for me."
Hatchet just sat there awkwardly until speaking up after Arancka had taken a seat beside him, "Arancka, if you don't mind me asking, you said if we found mom that you would tell me the one thing you won't tell me "
"Heck... I did say that...."
"Arancka...What did you promise to tell him..." Raven said glaring at the soon to be in trouble, small, inky-black wolf.
"I... I told," he paused, receiving another glare from Raven, this time a death-glare, "I told him I would teach him how to be human because I though you would have mastered it by now, turns out I was correct with my hypothesis"
"Mom?" Hatchet said turning to look at raven with his blue eyes wide. "do you think I can do it?"
"I know you can do it, it just takes a little practice. I will have Maki help you," Raven was interrupted by Hatchet saying,
"But mom! Why can't you teach me!"
"I'll help you too, its just Maki has been human her whole life so it will be better if she teaches you and not me." Raven replied to her sons childish outburst. "I will be along side you all the way. Just like Maki was here for me."
"Hatchet there is one more thing I should probably tell you, and Raven you should know this too" Arancka says, both wolves look at him. Raven giving him a protective motherly glare. "I have created the bond with Hatchet after being with him for so long... I am sorry Raven I know I told you I would not... But when he fell into four wolf I did see any other option then to activate the bond."
"It's okay... But did you complete the bond before now..." Raven asked her tail flicking away snow on her snout.
"Yes...I had to hurry threw the completion when hatchet fell unconscious in the river though..."
"I am right here you know... what is this bond thing you are talking about?" Hatchet says standing up, shaking the hardly visible snow from his white fur.
"It basically means your stuck with him now instead of my plan of taking him back after we were reunited..." Raven says. "It also means I no longer have an assistant because he must be with you at all times."
"Oh....and Mom?"
"Yes?"
"How come you didn't take me with you... I could have just been me, you, and Arancka!"
"Oh Hatchet...." Raven said sighing. "I was sick... I gave you to Lily because she was healthy and you would not get sick. Arancka was around your age at the time so I decided to leave him with you to help you find me some day..."

*Number 12's POV, Hopeful Home Day, about 4 or 5pm*

They walked me down a hallway into a very similar room, at a table sat a man, he was reading a paper.

"Mr. Airheart. Your child is now present."

The man stood up, examining me with each passing second. "She looks a lot better than when she was dropped off." the man stated.

"She has excelled at all her training and has mastered everything that we have given her to learn so far."

The man they called my father approached me, lifting up my chin with his hand, "You have your mothers eyes child, you are almost a exact image of her... No wonder she wanted to name you that awful name she gave such a powerful little girl. Please will you say your name for me my child?" he says locking eyes with me.

"Number 12: The Lightning Wolf, Occupant of cell 12 in the north wing." I state emotionless, as I had been forced to practice for the past ten years.

"Good, now if I could, may I see her wolf form. To see if it is in just as perfect condition as her human for is."

"Number 12's wolf form is currently a work in-progress, it is the only thing we can not fully test with out possible human blood split."

"So your saying no matter how hard you try you can not control a 12 year old when she is in the form of a creature that is the equivalent of a dog!"

"It not that sir-"

"Then what is it!"

"She not able trained. The magic is beyond that that we have on record. Her wolf form is the equivalent of having a extremely angered elephant about to charge you and that the forms equivalent of calm."

"That's all I needed to hear..." her father paused, picking back up his belongings from the table. "I will leave her in your care,"

"Sir- You do realize we can only hold her till she is 18, then she will be legally allowed to either stay or leave. we are not responsibly if she comes for you later in life.  Do you understand?" The other man spoke towards my father in a serious tone, taking a few steps towards him, and in his voice I could tell that he was scared. Scared of me. All of them where, the two guards and my father, the secretary in the other room she was scared of me too. The second guard went to fetch paperwork for my father.

The second guard came back with the paper work, "Now all we need is to ask you a few questions then you can be on you way"

"Alright"

"What is your child's full name?"

"Maxie May Airheart"

"What is you child's birthday?"

"March 13"

The questions went on and on but I noticed something as they got father along in the questions, the smell of fear in the room was growing stronger.
"

You are all scared of me... Why?" I ask secretly as I was undoing the hand cuffs with a bobby pin me and eight found in the box of stuff. They all looked at me, but I didn't need an answer, I could feel my magic returning as I was free of one of the cuffs. But that was all I needed, there was no windows in this room, in a second I use my lightning magic to short out the electrical system in the building. After that I transform into my wolf form and race out of the building threw the electrical wires in the walls. Suddenly, next thing I know is I am outside. My wolf form lands in the snow softly my blue-grey fur already set to protect me from the cold.

'I am free!' I shout to myself and quickly take off into the woods my adrenaline pumping, I push my wolf form to go even faster. Get as far away from this place as possible was my only goal now, but the questions still remained.

Will they come after me?

If they do, will they find me?

And most importantly, now that I am free, what will I do?
