A/N!

Sorry, it has taken me forever to get this chapter out to you guys. I have been sick with the nasty flu and haven't felt up to doing anything here lately but I wanted to finish this chapter! Thanks for being so patient!

"Marry me."

You had to process what was happening right now. You'd just found out that your parents basically dumped you on the doorstep of the Jedi Temple when you were young, not to mention that on top of that you were also freaking royalty by birth. And then, the icing on top of all of this though was that KYLO REN, of all people, who blew up your planet and held you hostage, was now asking you to marry him.

What in the world were things coming to?

You had to process this. You felt sick to your stomach and you walked passed Kylo and leaned over the railing overlooking the lake. Your face had gone pale as the information you just found out was all running around in your head as you tried to make sense of it all. You didn't know whether to fling yourself from the balcony, slap Kylo for throwing all of this in your face, or agree to marry him. Your emotions were a wreck right now.

Kylo sighed, "I'll give you time. But you have to make that decision today. If you don't, it won't end well. They'll be after both of us. If I can say that I will take you as my bride and we rule together here in Naboo then the Resistance and what's left of the First Order can't touch us. Just let that sink in." Kylo stated.

So you were basically being forced to marry or be forced to live your life on the run. Fanbloodytastic.

The biggest question was if you thought Kylo meant it. You needed to know that he didn't just want to marry you for status...you needed to know he loved you. Or better yet, that you loved him and all of this wasn't just Stockholm Syndrome.

"I'll be inside the palace. I've already made arrangements to have all of mine and your belongings placed inside. It's best you come with me," he said, holding his hand out for you to take. Pft, like you really thought you had a choice. . .

You simply nodded, following closely behind him. He led you up to yours and his room. A lot of the servants had already moved most of your belongings inside which weren't all that much to begin with.

"They don't spare any time do they?" You nervously muttered, eyes shifting around the room. Kylo didn't seem to hear you. You looked over at your bed. It was king sized with a gorgeous silk canopy overflowing and cascading down the sides.

"Y/N, if you agree to this then what that means is that all sides of this come to a standing truce. I'm doing this for you. I'm throwing away what my grandfather wanted just to keep you safe. Don't you see that?" He said, frustration lacing his voice.

You couldn't believe what you were hearing. "But why? Have you finally come to the light or something?" You asked, completely taken aback.

"This isn't about the Sith or the Jedi anymore. This is about us creating a new empire to rule the galaxy. This is a chance for something new." Kylo said, trying desperately to get you to see what he meant. "We don't have to run anymore! No one can defy us," Kylo added.

"Okay." You replied, thinking long and hard about what he was saying.

"Okay? What does-" you shushed him, finger pressed against his lips.

"I'll marry you. Yes, Kylo." You breathed out.

You were sure your face was red. You couldn't believe you had just agreed to marry the most powerful man in the galaxy right now. . .

"Y/N. . . you don't know how happy that makes me," he nearly choked. He grabbed you in a tight hug nearly forcing the air out of your lungs.

"You? Happy? There is hope," you dryly laughed, patting him awkwardly on the back.

He was serious though. He led you over to the bed and sat you down in his lap.

He breathed the the scent of your hair in and you felt chills go up and down your body.

"Y/N. . ." He whispered, wrapping his arms around your waist. You dared to look back at him as you felt his face near your cheek.

Your lips inched closer, almost touching.

"Sir! Where do you want this to go?" Came the voice of one of the servants as he was tiredly pushing a piece of furniture inside.

"Leave us," Kylo venomously stated as he used the force to push the piece of furniture against the wall.

The servants scurried away, scared out of their wits and closed the door quickly. You two were alone again.

Kylo sighed. "Y/N. . .there's something I need to give you."

He gently eased you off of him and took your hand, leading you over to a gorgeous handmade jewelry box. It looked like it belonged to a generation of family.

"Close your eyes," he said. You nodded once and obeyed.

You heard him rummaging through the box until all was quiet again.

"Open them," he commanded.

You did and as soon as you did he slid a gorgeous ring onto your left ring finger.

"I had the residents here search everywhere for it. It was Queen Amidala's. Now it's yours." He said, tilting your chin up to look at your eyes.

"It's gorgeous!" You admired the little inset pearl that rested in between all the jewels.

"Glad you like it," he sighed, resting his forehead on yours. Swooning wasn't your thing but you could swear that's what you were doing right now.

"You're perfect," he gently purred against your soft cheek.

You bashfully smiled, looking back down at the dainty little ring.

That ring would symbolize everything that was to come. Could you face it all? You knew you wouldn't have to alone but the thought scared you a little.

"So does this mean you will have to revert back to Solo?" You timidly asked, hoping that name wouldn't rile something back  inside of him.

It pained him at the sound of that name. He groaned, furrowing his brows as his grip on your waist tightened. He knew it would make you happy.

"If you wish to call me . . . Ben . . .do so if you want." He clearly had trouble saying those three letters.

You knew it would still take time for him to pull himself away from any lingering thoughts of the dark side but you would help him. You wanted to show him that there was still hope.

You would do anything in your power to keep him from going back to his old ways.

You would vow it on your life.
