The bear let go of Tamara, who immediately scrambled away. She pressed herself against the rocky wall as the bear came closer. She looked around and saw torn items of clothes.
"Your gonna eat me, aren't you..." Tamara said, looking at the clothes scattered on the cavern floor.
The bear paid no attention as it rummaged through the piles of clothes. Tamara watched on as the bear pulled out a fur coat.
"You sick animal." Tamara muttered, shivering from the cold. "Your gonna make me sit and see how many people you've killed, aren't you?"
The bear waddled over, with the fur coat in his mouth. He dropped it in front of her. The bear looked up at Tamara and tilted his head.
"You...you want me to wear this?" Tamara stuttered as she drew closer to the bear. "You really are sick..."
The bear just stared on as Tamara put on the coat. After she zipped it, the bear waddled over to her again. She stepped back, but it was too late. The bear tackled her, with Tamara now on her back facing a 600 pound bear.
"You furry bastard, let me go!" Tamara yelled. The bear drew closer to her face. She shut her eyes, waiting for the bear to gnaw on her skull. Instead, though, he licked her on the cheek. The bear then waddled back to the pile of clothes and curled up. Tamara still laid on the floor, dumbfounded by the bear's action. She stood up and looked over. The bear was growling softly, gnawing on a bone.
"So, you...won't eat me?" Tamara said, still confused.
The bear made a grunt, probably signaling a 'yes'.
Tamara walked closer to the bear. He didn't move. She stretched out her hand, which was shaking from both fear and cold. She inched closer to the bear's fur as he continued to gnaw on the bone. Her hand finally landed on the fur and Tamara started instinctively scratching. The bear shut his eyes and leaned closer to her, signaling to be scratched more.
"Well, I guess your just one big bear with the personality of a dog." Tamara said, breathing a sigh of relief.
The bear lifted his paw and drew Tamara closer. He pulled her down and hugged her with one arm.
"So I guess I am to you like Tammy bear is to me..." Tamara said. "A companion?"
The bear let out a happy grunt as he hugged her closer. Tamara could barely breath as she tapped the bear.
"Maybe you should loosen your grip?" Tamara suggested.
The bear, as if it understood her, let go of her more, allowing her to take a gasp of much needed air.
"Thanks."
The bear grunted as he snuggled up to Tamara, shielding her from the cold winds.
"You know, you should be hibernating."
The bear let out a confused grunt.
"Or not. Maybe your a special kind of bear."
The bear laid his head down again and quickly fell asleep. Tamara stopped shivering after a while and drifted off to sleep as well, with the bear's arm wrapped around her.
People, you may commence shipping Tamara and the bear...

Sunshine peeked through the shack's tattered curtains, letting Tori know it was morning. She slowly stood up, stretching her one good arm. She leaned over and grabbed her robotic arm and reinstalled it. She looked over at Matilda, who was facedown, snoring away. Tori silently chuckled as she stood up.
