Chapter 12 - Who are you?

Ivan's P.O.V.

I placed the mobile back and act calm whilst my whole mind was in chaos. Hazel came back and picked up her mobile. She opened it and unlocked it. As soon as she read the message, her eyes landed on me instantly as if she understood everything. I was noticing her all expressions. She gave me a brief glance and then smiled fakely at me.

She definitely know everything!!

"Shall we leave?", She asked.

"But you've not finished your coffee", I said and she picked up the coffee cup and drank it in a go.

"I've finish it now. Let's go", she said and I look at her in disbelief. She completed her hot coffee in one go as if it's water.

I clenched my jaws and got up giving her a nod. She knows where is Joe and only through her, I can reach to my destination. I've to make a plan as soon as possible.

Hazel and I walked out of the café. She turned towards me and said, "I've some important work to do. I guess I'll see you at home".

"Shall I drop you?", I asked.

"You're the one who denied to give me a lift in the college. What got into you now?", She asked with an amused smile.

Joe got me, I thought.

"Yes. I thought about it and I know I was being rude to you, so I'm just mending up things", I replied shrugging my shoulder. I'm Ivan and I can act for life.

"Thanks for the offer but I'll pass", she said and I clenched my jaws.

But I'll not!!

"See you later", she said and walked to the direction of the bus stop. I walked to my bike, put on my helmet, started the bike and followed Hazel.

I maintained a good distance from the her. Stopping the bike at a good distance, I saw her waiting on the bus stop. She had her mobile over her ear. She was talking to someone. As soon as the bus arrived, she took the bus.

I followed the bus and the route was familiar to me. My heart was beating at an uneven pace. The mere thought of seeing Joe back was making me jump out of my bike and held her in my hug. Only a girl name Joe can make me feel these strong emotions.

The bus stopped at the bus stop next to the hospital and Hazel got down from the bus. My rapidly beating heart all of a sudden came to a rest and my breath became shallow because of all the said possibilities. Is Joe in hospital? Is she alright?

As soon as Hazel entered the hospital, chills run down my spine. I parked my bike in the parking area and ran behind her cautiously. But unfortunately, I lost touch with her as soon as she disappeared in the crowd of the hospital.

I searched for her here and there and luckily saw her at the corner of the hallway taking a left. I ran in that direction only. My breath was shallow. As soon as I reached at the end of the hall, I saw her standing near the reception. I hid myself behind the wall.

I saw her taking some reports and then she walked back in my direction. I immediately ran from there and taking fast steps, I entered in the first room I got. It was a pateint waiting area. All the pateints gave me proper attention and some were even impressed by my looks.

Lucky they!!

I waited for sometime and when I was sure that Hazel had left, I walked out of the room. I searched for her but found no trace of her. With a mind full of thoughts, I reached near my bike and left for the home.

What could have been in her reports?, I wonder.
