Chapter 27 - Date With Joe!!

Ivan's P.O.V.

It was five in the evening and I was sitting in the main hall watching Emma getting Aiden all ready for today's dinner or I should say Home welcoming party at Hazel's place where I'm not invited. But, do I care? No. Will I go there? Yes. I've already selected the outfit to wear too. I'm so prepared to go. How can she not invite me? If I'll show up, she will not be left with any option.

"What time are we leaving?", I asked Emma who was combing Aiden's hair and she glanced at me. Aiden has worn a blue jacket with a white shirt and had paired it with blue pants. Emma brought some good pair of new shoes for Aiden. He had worn a white pair of shoes. They're super adorable. Kids clothes are funny.

"I'm leaving at eight with Aiden and Troy", she replied and picked out her eyeliner and made a mark on his forehead. I rolled my eyes at her superstition. She thinks that by making a black pen over a child's forehead will keep him safe.

"Ok. I'll get ready around seven", I said.

"You're not invited. Why will you come?", Emma asked and I glared at her. Do I need to argue with my sister also?

"She invited us as a family", I said.

"Vena has requested me not to bring you to the dinner. You've got all the history with Ron, I know. I'm your sister. Don't you try to act smart with me", Emma gave me a sharp look.

"So what? I want to go. I'm your brother. You can't do that to me", I played my cards but I forgot she's Emma Green Krystal, my sister. Before she became someone's wife or mother, she's my sister. We share the same blood. I can never win over her.

"It's not my house party. It's Hazel's. I can not force her to invite you. You know that you're not a nice person to introduce someone to", she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks for praising me and thinking so highly of me", I replied.

"I stated the facts. You know you don't give good first impressions. Why do you think I avoid taking you to my friend circle?", She smirked and my eyes widened.

"I don't want to go to your stupid boring parties even", I scoffed.

"Oh, please Ivan. You used to beg me to take you. You're crazy about Bryn", she said flipping her hair. Bryn is her best friend and she's damn hot. I hate it that my sister knows so much about me.

"Get out of your dreamland. I'm not a kid anymore who would die to go to your parties. Just take me today with you. I need to go", I insisted.

Emma just sighed. I stared at her to make her say yes. I'm a tough guy. I can't do puppy eye thing. I'm handsome, charming and hot but no matter how sexually attractive you're to other people, your sibling will find you ugly or below average always. That's the fact which no one can change.

The doorbell rang and Emma ran to open the door. She's avoiding the conversation clearly because she's so not allowing me to go with her. I let out a sigh. I've to think of a plan soon. The door was opened and Joe walked in with her beautiful smile all instant on her lips.

"Joe", I said getting up from my seat.

"Hey", Joe said looking at me and then at Emma.
