CHAPTER 1 THE NEW GUYS

I woke up to the sound of ghost town - acid ringing on my phone , I rolled over and turned off my alarm; I hated mondays. The sun was beaming through my curtains and I hauled myself out of bed and down to the bathroom. I brushed my hair leaving it with my natural wavy curls and put on a little bit of make up. i'm not one to cake my face in make up and look like a clown. I walked back to my room and decided to put on a pair of black skinnies, an all time low tee and my black vans.

I walked down stairs to the kitchen where my mom was sitting.

"morning sweety, sleep okay?" she said trying to spark up a conversation. 

"fine thanks mom". I replied still half asleep. I got some breakfast and took the seat across from her.

"I wont be home when your back from school. iv got a couple castings to go to" she said trying to sound like she felt bad for not being around more. Truth is I didnt mind thats she wasnt around, most days I just hung out with the blake, jack and ethan or went out walking.

I replied with a simple "cool" sounding more harsh than I intended. 

I grabbed my school bag and headed for the door. I walked to the bus stop and waited for yellow bus from hell to arive.

------ skip bus journey------

I walked into mrs newtons class for registration and took my seat at the back. I took out my note pad and started to doodle when mrs newton started to speak.

"now class we have some new students who have just moved  here from Australia." she said gesturing to the 4 boys standing in the door way.

I put my head back down and continued to doodle. when a tall figure with tanned skin came and took the seat next to me.

"im calum" he said shyly.

"carter" I replied quite bluntly as I continued to draw.

the bell rang for first period and I got up from my seat and started to head out of the class when that calum boy tapped my shoulder. I spun round to face him as he spoke.

"do you think you could show me to my first class? I have absolutely no idea where im meant to be going and my friends kinda ditched me" he said and I noded my head motioning him to follow me.

The bell rang signalling break and I couldnt be more relived.  I walked into the canteen to see blake, jack and ethan all standing around 'our' table. I walked over to them and blake run up to me jumping up and down.

"whats gotten into you girl? " I said kind of scared.

"have you seen the boys. They are all just so perf. I hear they are Australian! " she gasped over excited.

"yea they are all in my regi and I have first 2 periods with one named calum." and just as I said that I herd a familiar voice call my name, it was calum and the other 3 boys. They headed over towards us and intoduced themselves. jack and ethan did the whole bro hug thing and they started chatting but I couldnt help but lock eyes with the blonde one with perfectly quiffed hair and ocean blue eyes he let a faint smile out before we snaped backed to reality as the bell rung for 3rd period.

blake grabbed my arm and whispered "dibs on ashton!" she gigglef and walked on ahead.

the rest of the day was boring and I was so relieved when the last bell went. I gatherd my things and headed home. when I got home it was silent I remember what my mom had said about her being out so I walked to the living room and turned on tv when there was a knock at the door. I got up and walked over to the door opening it.

"you" I let the words slipp from my mouth wondering why he was standing at my door.
