CHAPTER 20 BBQ

CARTERS P.O.V

I had been up since 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep at all. I had decided about an hour ago ( 7:30pm)  to go down stairs and watch tv which is exactly what I did. I didnt mind that my dinner went to waste last night. luke is taking it pretty hard but hopefully when everyone comes over today he will forget about it for a while. its been 2 weeks since my call back and im starting to think I blew it. I mean 2 weeks without a call or anything. anyway we leave to go o tour in 5 weeks and im pretty excited.

"hey gorgeous" luke lay over me on the couch.

"well um hey to you to" I replied feeling squished. "can you get off me please" I asked.

" fine. What time are the guys coming at today " he said will twirling my hair in his fingers.

" around 5 I think" I noticed luke was looking at the kitchen where last nights mess was still lying.

"did you make dinner last night" he asked looking sad

"ugh yea but it was nothing honest. it didnt even matter" I told him not wznting him to feel bad

"carter im so sorry. im such a ideot last night was our anaversiry wasnt it!"  he said throwing his head in his hands.

"hey hey look its fine. I dont mind. okay. its no big deal!" he got up and walked and I was confused. he soon came back with a small box and pushed it in my face. I undid the wrapping to reveal a beautiful locket with a picture of me and luke inside. 

"omg luke its beautiful" I was in shock

"here" he turned it over to reveal words written on the back.

some infinities are bigger than other infinities.

I repeated the words. he new that was my favourite quote from the faults In our stars and thats what made it even more special.

"luke your amazing you no" I gave him a soft kiss.

"anything for my princess" he returned the kiss.

"do you remember when we first got together.  everyone was telling us we were crazy because we had only known eachother for 2 days. but you know when I told you I loved you I meant it. I knew that after 2 days of knowing you I needed to spend the rest of my life telling you how beautiful you are."  he began

"luke I" he cut me off.

" I had only known you for 2 days but when you didn't speak to me for that first week, I drove my self Insane thinking about you. and you know when I proposed after only 2 and a half months everyone told me I was stupid because I was only 17 but I didnt care, because I know that there wont come a day when I get tired of looking at you and telling you how much I love you. I am in love with everything about you carter. I really am." he finished and tears where forming in my eyes.

"I love you luke. and wow that was alot of words" I laughed and kissed him passionately.  we stayed on the couch until 3pm when I decided we should probably get ready for everyone comming over.

"guys foods ready" luke called from the garden and we all ran back there.

"so jessica liking it here so far?" cal seemed to take intrest in her alot. she was so nice and fit in with our weird personalities perfectly.

"yea its great I mean I miss home and all but you guys are making moving here not so bad." she said while getting a burger off the grill.

" so guys I say we play truth or dare" micheal suggested like he always does.

we all gatherd in a circle. blake and ashton were cuddled up on one chair. god they were cute. calum and micheal were on another. ethan and jack on another  and me luke and jess took up with rest.

" ashton I dare you to kiss jessica" ethan said smiling widely.  I could tell blake wasnt happy and when ashton stood up to do it blake stormed into the house and I followed her.

"shes a bitch why did she come here tonight, to kiss and steal other people's boyfriends. " blake shouted through her tears.

" its only a game. dont worry"i said trying to calm her down

" really you wouldnt be saying that if it was luke now would you. I cant believ you standing up for her."

" your right I no I shouldn't be saying that. she should have said no because she knows you and ash are a thing" I said hugging her.

" urm can I come in" ashton peeked his head round the door looking nervous.

" whatever" blakes harsh voice answered.

"I'll leave you two alone." I said excusing myself from the situation. I went back to the deck where everyone was and took a seat on lukes lap.

" im so sorry I had no idea she would react like that" jessicas voice was sincere and quiet.

"its fine she just really loves ashton and dosnt want to lose him"

" I no how she feels. I hated leaving my boyfriend to move here he means the world to me. especially after my what happend between my ex before him" I was curious but didnt ask what happend.  soon ash came down and told us him and blake were leaving. we all sat and chatted for a while untill it was just me and luke lying down looking at the stars.

phone call

"hey mom how have you been"

" good honey how was the bbq you had last night"

"great little drama but it was fun"

"well I have some news I got a call from mark, you know one of people from xmax. well he told me that you should be expecting a call from the director."

" oh god okay. did he say wether it was bad or good news?"

" nope. but I want you and luke to come over tomorrow for dinner okay. "

" sure thing mom. see you tomorrow love you"

"love you to hun bye"

oh god he was going to call after 2 weeks I would find out wether I had failed miserably or got the part. I texted luke about dinner tomorrow - since he was at the studio-  and he said that was great. so I decided id have a lazy day and watch movies.

a/n sorry with is short its more of a filler chapter.  soo luke totaly spilled his feelings and was all cute and shit. ahhh. jessica nice or bitchy? and do you think carter will get the part? thank you for 115 reads means sooo much love you all. will update as much as I can while on this cruise I get home in like 4 days so more updates then. ahh. agian love you all.
