CHAPTER 25 WHATS A PARTY WITHOUT A FIGHT

CARTERS P.O.V

alot of people were already here, some I didnt even know who had probably just showed up to drink. I know luke said we were having alot of people over I just expected like 30 of our closest friends not  all these people. I was glued to luke the whole night - I wasnt much of a party person- so seeing all these drunk people freaked me out. I had said hi and goodbye to everyone and was now dancing in the living room with luke.

"im gonna goo get another drink Ill be righttt backkk." lukes words were slurred and I was a little hesitant to let him go concidering had already had 5 cups of god knows what.  I decided I would go see jess and the guys who were all sitting out back laughing away.

"hey guys enjoying yourself??" I askked taking a seat next to jack. 

"hells yea we are" michael shouted taking another sip of his drink.

" carter you sure can throw a great party just a shame its because your leaving!" jack looked at me sadly.

" I no but hey let not put a downer on it. you all know I like to go out with a bang." I said rasing my arms un the air.

we were all chatting away most people inside the house had - only a about 20 people where in there- and our little gang were all sitting out side talking away; all except luke. I dont know how long it had been but I hadnt seen him since he left to get another drink and I was starting to get worried.

"guys have any of you seen luke??" I asked curiously.

"ermm I saw him go upstair an hour ago probably just crashed out on the bed." calum spoke.

"yea your probably right. ill go up and check he is okay." I got up.

" hey where is jess?" they all questioned as I continued to walk back into the house. I reached our bed room door and I herd giggling.

"please god dont let this be him in here" I said to myself quietly. 

I slowly opend the door to reavel a half naked jess in bed with a very very drunk luke.

" you bitch" I said under my breath.

" carter it not.." I cut her him off.

"save it" she tried to interupt." both of you. I dont want to hear it just get out!" I screamed. everyone down stairs must have herd because soon enough they were all standing in the door way staring in at the scene I just caused. 

"I dont want to see your ratty little face ever agian" I shouted at jess.

"dont play bumb you knew he couldn't fall inlove with a girl like you. you were just kidding yourself this whole time." she whispered in my ear as she budged past me out the door.

" carter please let me explain" I stood looking at luke wanting to scream, shout but no words were spoken. I turned to everyone.

" you guys should go. thank you for comming I will miss you all so much. could you clear everyone thats left down stair out please."

" sure thing carter." ash replied. we all hugged and said goobye for the last time - me still stood at the door way.

"carter please speak to me"  luke was now sobering up and had relized what had actuly happend.

" im going to bed and im gonna take the spare room tonight." no way in hell was I sleeping in that bed knowing SHE had been in it.

"you dont have to carter honestly" he spoke like he had done nothing wrong.

" are you kidding me right now. you honestly think I want to sleep in that bed next to you." he didnt know what to say he just stared lost into my eyes.

tears began to form in my eyes knowing this was the end.

"maybe this move is comming at the perfect time maybe its for the best  that im leaving... maybe we, we" I could finish it.

"dont say it carter please I love you" his words hurt knowing that all the words and I loves you's were lies.

" maybe we just need a break... from us" I puffed out the words and looked down at the ring on my finger letting a few tears run down my face before wipping them and detaching the ring from its place on my finger and sitting it on the counter next to luke before turning and walking to the spare room.

LUKE'S P.O.V.

I was way more than a little drunk. I kept being handed drinks of who knows what and just downing them - whats a party without a little boose. I tired to find carter after a while but found my self being hauled up the stairs by jess.

"your so drunk its unreal" she spoke sounding totaly sober.

"I nooo itsss crazy" I had no idea what I was doing. I flopped onto my bed and jess lay next to me.

"you know your quite attractive when your drunk" she came closer to me our faces almost touching. I was about to speak when she kissed me. I tried to push her off but from all the alcohol my arms where weak. I just got lost in the moment and soon enough we were half naked lying in bed togeather when carter walked in. the look of hurt and disappointment filled her face and all this was because of me. jess and her started arguing and then everyone left... I was standing in the room not wanting to believe what carter had just said. I didnt blame her I was an ass hole I ruined this. me. im such an idiot!!!

I picked up the ring and twirled it in my fingers. hoping she would take it back. she had to. I cant live without her. I went back to bed and just lay there not sleeping one bit all I could think about was carter. I love her.

JESSICAS P.O.V

what a bitch she had to ruin it. luke would be mine if it wasnt for her. I was almost at blakes house because I knew I could trust her - she is so nieve its unreal - ever since carter ditched her for luke she practically depends on me.

" what the hell its 4 in the fucking morning" she answerd the door.

"holy crap jess are you okay? come in come in" she usherd me in toward her couch were we took a seat.

" luke kissed me and carter saw and she shouted at me and everyone hates me thinking I kissed luke and now im alone." I spoke quickly and let tears flow down my face.

" clam down clam down. listen they are all bitches if the believe you would ever try to kiss luke. Don't worry about it!"  such a idiot she is.

"you can crash here if you want. my parents are out they wont mind." she offerd and I gladly excepted. we walked up to her room and got into bed. I cant wait till carter has left, then I will have everyone of them wrapped around my finger including little lukey!
